hope someone can help have 14ml band was up to 12.75 ml after two weeks band to tight was sick most of the time could only drink fluids and eat soft got unfill of 0.5ml but now cant stop eating dose anyone know if band will tighten up again or should i get an other fill please help thankyou

hi so glad i have read your message i am from glasgow i was bannded 15 june 2007 by hospital group big mistake they are a living nightmare have not gave the service they sold in there contract i am also thinking of taking them to court as they have lied and mislead me from the start their is about 15 of us from all over scotland that have became pals through the very poor service we receive from hospital group even the staff they had here have left them they have not replaced them they have now got a new fill nurse she said she could come to glasgow once a week but hg send her every 4 to 5 weeks so getting an appoitment is very very limited i needed an unfill i let them know within 48hrs they could not do it till 3 of june i had to end up paying £50 to go to nutfeild hospital were i got my surgery they told me i would have to pay before my unfill as hospital group was not paying there bills i am trying to get my money back as i let them know within 48 hrs i wish i had went with someone else i also was desparate to lose the weight more fool me but feel good as i stoped 2 pals going to them for bandding op and also stopped my good freind from getting her boob job done by them they all got it done by other groups that makes me feel a bit better i will always bad mouth hospital group and do all i can to stop anyone 1 i no to not go with them as all they want is your money thanks for reading me go off on one

hello josie i had my band done with hospital group they told me i would be able to go to group support meetings that was 9 months ago that was part of my so called contract with them after surgary they told there was not one in my area yet i have made many new freinds we are all very disappointed as we feel they have taking or money and not given us what was in our contract i have been waiting for a fill since feb got letter other day to tell me it will be on the 16 of april my contract runs out in may or fill nurse left because of the way they were treating people she was a lovely lady she is from leeds and is now doing fills on her own she charges £100 a fill hospital group is a lot more she travels to were you live it you get a group of peaple together i stay in glasgow and i will use sharron when my contract runs out as i would not give hospital group an other penny

hi kitty hear i totaly relate to what you are going through i am going throug the same i have lost 68lbs in 9 months also but feel the same as yourself i have had all the saline removed and it was fine no leaks can eat anything but not white bread i have to eat slowly i dont drink for an hour after i have eating but i thought i would not be able to eat a lot of things i am glad that i can eat a almost anything as i have a freind that cant eat much i think i got in to my head it would be the same for myself iam glad i am not like her as she gets very frustrated so i think as long as we are still losing we are winning i would not have done as well with out my band i think the band is doing its job but doing it different for us as we are all different in our own ways a very good luck to you i am so glad i read your message i no i am not alone in how i feel

hi helen i also have a 14 ml band am now down too 14 st 5lb but going for other fill that will take my band up to 13ml feel i can still eat large meals dont know if it is just me or if others feel the same as myself the only thing i cant eat is white bread so i hope you get down to your ideal weight very soon good luck:thumbup:

Hello all, had surgery on the 15/6/07 66lb off to date with a target of 44lb still to go. found it hard sometimes but holding on. Would love a glass of fizzy juice can someone tell me if its possibe to drink that. good luck to everyone :thumbup::biggrin::thumbup::ohmy::thumbup:
