Thank you so much for you honest feedback. It's been quite helpful. I'm going to follow up with you next week if you don't mind just to kind of give you an update on what I experienced. Sent from my VS990 using the BariatricPal App

Thank you. I'm going to change it up this week to come. I'll drink at least 3 protein drinks and hit the gym for 4 days a week instead Of 3. Sent from my VS990 using the BariatricPal App

KristenLe, thanks. I can usually get more of those down than clear Water. It's a struggle. Maybe I'm too anxious. I wanted to have lost at least 50 pounds by now but maybe that's too much. My supervisor had her sleeve done on December 31st 2015 and she's currently lost 103 pounds. She is a lot heavier than I am. I wonder is that the reason she's losing more faster. What do you think? I wonder what is the difference in the days. I will try that. I wonder if I'm not eating enough or too much right now. My daily food intake usually consists of 2-30gram Premiere Protein drinks, about 4 oz. of Soup, some crackers or pretzels since they are low fat, 3oz. of cottage cheese and maybe 2 bottles of Water. What do you think? Sent from my VS990 using the BariatricPal App

I thank you for your words. I get so disappointed each Monday morning when I weigh myself and it is either a one pound drop or none at all. Sent from my VS990 using the BariatricPal App

PinkyPearly1908, I to am glad to know that someone is feeling what I'm feeling at this time after being sleeved. I have a hard time getting a lot of Water in each day. It seems, from other posts, that water is essential for weight loss with the sleeve. I just need to sit under a waterfall with my mouth open I guess! Lol! It's so hard. Do you think that using crystal light or other sugar free drink mixes in your water is the same as clear water? Sent from my VS990 using the BariatricPal App

How often did you experience stalls? Collectively, with the 2 week pre-op, all liquid diet and after surgery, I've only lost 35 pounds. I'm one month and one week post op. I feel that I should be losing more. Sent from my VS990 using the BariatricPal App

Did you go through a lot of stalls? How did you work your nutrition plan? I need help. I'm one month in and I'm currently experiencing my 3 week stall and it's frustrating. Sent from my VS990 using the BariatricPal App

I was sleeved on the same day. I lost a total of 34 pounds and I've been at a stall for 3 weeks. It does get very frustrating. Reading the other responses are giving me some encouragement. I'm hoping I didn't have this surgery for nothing. Sent from my VS990 using the BariatricPal App

Proud2BMe, thank you. That really helps. I've only lost 1 pound this week. My scale either says I lost it or I gained it back. It keeps fluctuating. I'm not getting in a lot of calories but I'm trying to get them in.its difficult because I get full so quick now. Which is good and I am not complaining. Sent from my VS990 using the BariatricPal App

Thank you also KristenLe.I'm getting better with my liquids but not quite there yet. I get one Protein drink in per day (Premier Protein w/ 30 grams of protein). I gotta do better! Sent from my VS990 using the BariatricPal App

Thank you, Proud2BMe. Its really hard to eat a lot more than that. I gues as time goes on, I can tolerate more food. Do you know approximately how much time goes by before you lose weight again? Sent from my VS990 using the BariatricPal App

I had my check up today. All is well. I've, since my surgery on March 21st, 2016, have lost 20 lbs. So far so good. She approved me for soy foods. I tried a little bit they're making me feel nauteous. How do you fight beyond that in order to start eating food? I feel better with Water but I cannot live in that alone. I tried to drink a Premier Protein drink on yesterday but it made me nauteous as well. Any suggestions or advice? **PLEASE RESPOND!!** Sent from my VS990 using the BariatricPal App

On The Fence 2- Thanks for that. This really helps. This is my first day eating food. I will take it really slow right now. I REALLY have to get the hang of it. It feels like everything I try to eat stops mid-point between my chest. I hope that stops. Sent from my VS990 using the BariatricPal App -
Try going to GNC and pick up son liquid B-12. It really helps. Sent from my VS990 using the BariatricPal App

I want to know what do most people eat after they return to regular food? How much do you eat (especially at restaurants)? Can you eventually eat popcorn and nuts again? Sent from my VS990 using the BariatricPal App

THANK YOU ALL!!! Your responses have helped a lot. I can at least have an idea of how most people eat after they are allowed to. I'm just one week post-op so of course I'm gonna have several questions until I get the hang of it. Sent from my VS990 using the BariatricPal App

Hey Ginger, hang in there. I just had my surgery 5 days ago. There is a support group in every 2nd Wednesday of each month at Baylor Plano @6pm main hospital lower level education centre. I will be attending. I feel for you in your situation. I hope as time goes on your husband will be more supportive. Let me know if this helps. Sent from my VS990 using the BariatricPal App

Greetings to all who read this post. I am just 4 days after surgery and I am home after a 3 day Stay. I had to stay 2 extra days due to my heart rate being elevated. I believe it was partially due to the fact that I came in with severe back pain. I'm noticing that with each day, I feel a little better. I'm taking it really slow. I have 2 weeks off work which is beneficial to a good recovery. I am experiencing a lot of soreness in my 5 incision areas. They are not gross or ugly so I'm sure they'll heal nicely. Sometimes I hear voices in my head saying how stupid I was to permanently shrink the size of my stomach. I know it's just Satan trying to discourage me. I believe that I saved my life. I started gaining a lot of weight after my parents and sister passed over recent years. With greiving, I ate a lot without thinking about it. Being 44, a mother, working and taking care of home it cuts a lot of time for a lot of other things (depending I one's situations in life).I gained a lot of weight along with several health problems and physical pain. My PCP suggested the surgery and I diligently resarched it. Last year I made the decision to have the VGS done. First my husband was against it. It literally took a while year to massage his mind to the idea. I had first started with my now bariatric surgeon. I went through all the preliminaries and then was told the insurance that I had wouldn't cover it. I changed jobs and the insurance was different so I found out that they'd cover it . I went through the 2 week all liquid diet and finally made it to my surgery date.everything was done very professionally. I was told to walk a lot as much as I can stand. I know that my introduction is long. I just wanted everyone to get the whole picture. I wanted to introduce myself and my story along this journey. I feel I made a great decision for myself. Can anyone out there share suggestions or comments for additional support? I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance. Sent from my VS990 using the BariatricPal App
