  1. Well I must say, I'm happy I'm not the only one. I keep trying coffee but so far no luck. Thanks to all for the responses. Sent from my SM-G920F using the BariatricPal App
  2. I wonder if more people recognize this. I had my surgery at the 21st of March. Now I am trying to drink coffee again but all I taste is warm water. I know it sounds strange and sure, it is not the end of the world. But I wonder if someone else has something similar and know if this will come back some day. I do miss my coffee...
  3. My wife also reacted badly after taking her Vitamins the surgeon suggested eating raisins (white) before or after taking the Vitamin pill. Strangely enough all is good now maybe it will help you as well. We both are taking special vitamin pills created here in The Netherlands for Gastric Bypass patients. Trouble Breathing

I had my surgery on monday and have the same issues. They (the doctors) blame it on the fact that your stomach muscles and insides are really bruised. So I suppose it is kind of normal to experience this. I can't walk the stairs without being shattered, like being an 80year old trying to do the harlem shake. Do call your doctor if you are really worried but I have been told that unless your are vomitting or having fevers most of these problems are part of the recovery! You could try eating differently, your body does not react the same way as it used to do on food. So if you could eat chicken broth before it doesn't necessarly mean you will be able to do just yet. Good luck! Sent from my SM-G920F using the BariatricPal App

    Stall? Help!

Hi, i've heared more stories about stalling after a few weeks. I don't think you should be worried just yet. To be clear i had my surgery on monday but I have read stories where people stalled after few weeks. Your body has been totally reset but I am sure you will lose weight again soon. So keep it up and remember when you start walking more or excersising you will train your muscles etc so weightloss is expected to be slower! Sent from my SM-G920F using the BariatricPal App
