    Looking for a friend

Hey Jocelyn, My name is Tracy. I also had a bypass in march and i am about a month out. Right now I am supposed to be on a full liquid diet. I find that I get nauseated if I try to eat anything more than what is on my diet. Or try to drink and eat at the same time. It does not mix well. You are supposed to wait 30 minutes in between. I know it is hard because you think you are hungry but your body can't tolerate what you want to eat and then you stay nauseated or throw up. At least I do. I also don't tolerate drinking Water, I prefer ice chips. Just find something you like ( Vitamin water,Powerade zeros ) to get your fluids in.
  2. Monday will be a month, and I am weighing about 210 lbs. So that is 23lbs since the surgery. My doctor didn't say exactly what I was supposed to lose each month, just that I probably would lose 100+ lbs overall. So I have a long way to go. I see my doctor next week and I will be sure to find out if I am on track.

    Best bariatric vitamins?

I use vitamin patches. They were recommend by my doctor. They run about $20 for 30. They have worked great so far.
  4. I am almost a month out and i have only lost about 30lbs. - 10 before the surgery. I know i need to exercise more but I have a lot of nausea still. What do I need to do?
