Congrats on getting a date Lori! Just keep telling yourself why you're doing this! The liquid diet is temporary and you can do it! I figure it will help me for post-op! I have been keeping busy (my house has never been so clean) but the head hunger sucks. I just keep telling the pizza devil on my shoulder to shut up and move on. :-)

My mom is especially upset I'll be on liquid diet on Thanksgiving. I told her not to worry...I'll be present, happy and cooking with her. I just can't sample! And Christmas I should be back on solids.

we have 6 weeks to Thanksgiving. You give any thought to how you're gonna tackle that one? You should be on solids by then.

I think I'll still be on soft foods but not sure - I don't get my diet for 6+ weeks until I see the Nutritionist again 4 weeks post-op. I should be okay regardless. We are probably going to my brother and sister in-laws house and she's not a great cook! LOL
