  1. I'm doing good with my fluids (can drink almost normal sips) but not so good with protein. Sending the SO to get something else I can try for protein. The protein shakes aren't cutting it - and Atkins LIft (my backup plan) is nasty!

Good deal on the fluids. I was the same with anything Atkins (liquid stuff and bars).....gross. Down the road a ways, their frozen meals may appeal to you. They have some breakfast bowls that are quick and easy and taste great.

Protein shakes are very much pitch to you win. I keep hearing the Quest shake powder is good. Still haven't tried it. Premier Protein pre-mixed was what I lived on those first couple weeks.

Hang in there and heal up.

I made a lot of soups in the liquids phase and would just add protein powder to them. I don't mind the premier shakes, especially since I only have 1/2 -1 a day now.

I hated Atkins Lyft...and I'm probably the only one in the world who'll say this, but I didn't mind the lemonade flavored Isopure RTDs. I made slushies with them, by blending with ice. When I was in that first 3 weeks, anything blended with ice was easier to digest, including RTD protein shakes and shakes made from powder. Maybe give that a try if you haven't yet :)
