  1. I would ask surgeon about the bulge - that doesn't seem like it would be food related.
  2. My BMI is high 52 and I don't have the typical liver shrinking diet either. They do for higher BMIs though.
  3. Hummus, cottage cheese, soft cheese, greek yogurt, beans, tuna, baked fish, ... You need to get your protein and water in.

    Gastric bypass neck/shoulder/chest pain

The gas used during surgery can cause this - moving around and walking should help. I would definitely call your surgeon to be sure it's not anything else.

    May 24 Surgery Day

Prayers for you both dealing with clots!!! Very scary and I'm glad you got care before anything happened. If anyone has unexpected or severe pain - don't take chances and wait.

    Scheduling Appointments

My Program has evening seminars but all individual appointments are 8-5. The appointment time is fairly typical for medical specialists. It's suggested we give 30 days notice for FMLA. Could you have asked for a different surgery date?
  7. Do you have anything with electrolytes? There's not much on clear liquid diet with calories. Just keep drinking. Try sugar free popsicles or jello.

When online dating didnt work out....

There are definitely alot of scammers and posers on sites. I actually only did 2 sites specific to "big" women. I was not optimistic but figured I'd try and see what happened.

What do you say in your messages? What dating site? I was where you are at 40 too and then met my BF a year later and we've been together going on 7 years.

    Two week liquid diet

This could be from dehydration. Be sure to drink fluids before bed. Hang in there!
  12. You should check in with your surgeon if you can't keep anything down.

    Stall with diet upgrades?

Everyone (just about) stalls - particularly at 3 weeks. Your body is adjusting - just keep to your plan and it'll come off.

    One month out

How much sodium and carbs in those Chicharrones?

    One month out

I'm still pre-surgery so take my opinion for what it's worth. I'd add Protein and get rid of tortilla. Save that room for protein. Actually - I'd skip the veggies until you can eat more and have protein. I don't think you're having enough calories either.

    PCOS Strikes again!

Do you want children in the future? If so - I'd wait it out until you've lost weight - if possible. What's the cause of the enlarged heart? You should get your gallbladder removed at the time of DS surgery. Sent from my KFFOWI using the BariatricPal App
