    Care Package?

@@ecoreen94 How sweet!!! I'm pre-op and just have to say - I would be so touched if my sister did this. @@AvaFern has some great ideas. Maybe add an adult coloring book and colored pencils - she could use that at home too!

    Gastritis PRE-op

How soon is your surgery? I don't think it will delay it unless it's in next few weeks. The Dr will probably order some meds and you should be fine by surgery. Stay away from NSAIDs! Good luck. Let us know what the Dr says!

    I'M SO HUNGRY!

Have broth, sugar free popsicles, infused water, crystal light...mix it up so you have some variety. Staying on plan will help speed up your recovery! Stay strong!

    Pureed Foods

Puree chicken and add mayo and any other tasty additions (dill relish, avocado). Ricotta bake, greek yogurt, Soup (pureed or strained), tuna (pureed), refried beans with cream cheese, salsa and cheddar (heated). There are alot of recipes on Pinterest. Be creative and enjoy!
  7. How about broth or soup? Tomato soup is my go-to when sick (pre-op)!
  8. @@msolomon55 You answered part of your question. The other possibilities are vitamin deficiency and low blood pressure (if you were on BP meds - they may need to be adjusted). Hope you feel better soon!

    Weight?

@@thatmeanone I lost a lousy 3 lbs in 3 months of my supervised diet. I was ready to scream! Happy Birthday to your husband; enjoy those crab legs - they're a great source of protein!!! ????

    Weight?

@@thatmeanone and @@amyflores Try cutting out all sodas, high calorie drinks. Stick with a high protein/low carb (and only fruits and vegetables for carbs) diet. Drink alot of water or non caloric drinks (no soda). You might want to try replacing a meal with a protein shake. It's really important not to have a gain (you don't need a large loss) - some insurances will deny you if there was a gain. Good luck!!

    Alcohol Addiction

@@Proud2BMe It makes me sad to read this! I'm sorry you're going through a difficult time. Thankfully you admitted this before it got any worse. Alcohol detox is dangerous. Please reconsider getting professional help - at least to detox. Whatever you do - please take care of yourself!!! You're in my prayers!!

    Waking up after surgery

You are pretty much to out of it to realize you have a breathing tube and once you are responsive - the RN will remove it. I have had several surgeries and only remember them removing it once (and it wasn't that bad)! You'll be fine.

    Thursday will be 6weeks

Congrats on your loss! You may need to increase your protein and water intake if working out. It's common to stall though. Just change things up a bit - add more protein and modify your exercise routine slightly to kick things off again.
  16. @@keto_jo You need to have someone drive you home (please don't just have them drive around corner to satisfy hospital. Who will be caring for the farm animals? Do you have any neighbors that could help you?

    Goal Weight

You need to work on increasing calories ASAP or you will permanently mess up your metabolism. I assume you started at a low BMI - it's important to talk to your nutritionist about a diet plan to maintain. I would start to slow down your loss now. To increase calories - add some healthy fats and healthy carbs to your diet. Sent from my KFFOWI using the BariatricPal App

Why do we have to wait?

It's extremely dangerous for you but particularly for the baby. Take this time to concentrate on your health and once you're at a healthy weight (and at least a year out) - start planning a family and give yourself the best chance of having a healthy pregnancy and healthy baby! Chest pain and foamies

@@taracutch Sorry you didn't get any response yet. I am preop but you may have eaten too much. It is hard to tell when you are full - especially with something like cream of wheat.
