Someone asked this in my pre op class and thy also wrote something about it in my booklet. So basically they don't recommend baby food they told us in our class it's made for baby's and not adults so they prefer you make your own purée and stay away from baby food. Hi everyone! Looks like I'm scheduled April 28 for my sleeve. I do not have a pre op diet. My surgeon only requires no eating or drinking before mid night and special instructions if you take medications. I can not have Advil starting now for me as well but Tylenol is ok. 2 weeks before start having lighter meals that's all. I'm reading everyone talk about their liquid diets and wondering if there are people out there who DID NOT have a pre op diet and if you made your own pre op diet or what. Hi! I'm new here. I had started the process 2 years ago with Dr. Nusbaum. I was approved and at the same time found out I was pregnant with my 3rd baby. Surprise! So obviously I had to postpone my WLS plans. Fast forward to last month. I went back to Nusbaum, nutritionist, psych eval, they were all ready to submit me and then they realized they don't take new insurance. I'm so upset about this set back but I've done my research and it's lead me to Advanced laperscopic assoc in Paramus. It looks likes they are in my plan tier 1 and I should be good. I'm going this Weds for the seminar. Hopefully I won't have to start completely from Scratch. Im mentally ready to get a move on it and don't want to wait and get nervous. Anyone use Dr. Ewing? Or Dr. Schmidt or Dr. Trivedi? Surgery would be done at Hackensack University. Any feedback would be great Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
