I'm good I went home from hospital today I'm only on shakes till Monday then purée I've only managed 200mls Water so far today and 2 teaspoons of yogurt so confusing the hospital gave me yogurt but I'm meant to be on shakes oh well. I dont have any gas pain but I'm gassy. My abdominal wall is really sore it's hard to move about I wasn't expecting that the wound closest to my belly button is really painful. They gave me juice last night it made me nauseated and so did the Optifast for tea it was made with milk and I felt sick I'm going to use my own Protein powder now I'm home and I need to get some of the flavourless Protein Powder to add to my purée my NUT said the red 8 one is good. When I got released from hospital my fiancé was downstairs having Breakfast so I walked down there he was having my most favourite breakfast eggs Benedict I looked at it and felt nothing at all was so surprised by how I felt I'm pleased to hear from you I was getting very worried. I here you I was sleeved the 29/3 and it's hard to get down much Water and I'm finding room temp is best cold is painful my stomach muscles are sore as!! Sent from my iPhone

Myrizzy I was just thinking the same thing How do I know when I'm full I've just had yogurt in hospital and I can't tell when to stop I've had about 4 teaspoons so far so odd they gave me that when my NUT said shakes only until Monday then I can go onto purée liquid consistency. I just got sleeved yesterday and I'd been stressing about losing my beloved cup a day for so long leading up to this surgery then I asked my surgeon about it he said I don't have a problem with you having coffee apparently he recently attended a conference and it was something that was discussed and it's not an issue for him he said so I am one very very happy girl ️ Sent from my iPhone

I'm glad you are both doing well the spasms are awful and constant Surgeons been today and I need to drink 1.5 litres of Water today not sure how that's going to happen. The heat pad was great for gas pain in my neck and shoulder am tired was awake every 2 hours. Keep me updated ladies as to what's happening for you Sent from my iPhone

Giggles715 Pleased to hear you can have liquids. I'm not allowed anything but Water till later today it's 6.00 in the morning here. I was awake every hour or two through the night gas pain in my neck and shoulder the heat pack helped some. Have had spasms in my stomach all night I think the full effects of the drugs in surgery are wearing off so it's pretty painful. I just got some more morphine and another one for nerve pain nausea meds and an injection to thin my blood. I'm in hospital till Thursday today its Wednesday here. I can burp but I don't think I could do the other at all good luck with that. ???? maybe if you can't do it you can stay in and stayed dosed up I've been bringing liquid back up a little like regurgitation maybe not pleasant all I can taste is yucky pills. I hope your not in icu for to long I'm lucky I could start on Water after I was so scared taking that first sip lol but it was ok I've been up to the toilet a few times now which is good. Yay kiwijet So pleased to hear you are doing ok My blood pressure is high and my heart rate which I've never had before but it's fine. Are you in private hospital? I find they are always checking I'm ok and giving me more drugs which I will not complain about the gas pain in my right shoulder has kicked in but it's not to bad How's the Water going are you finding you get a pain in the middle of your chest and burping after water I've been getting spasms in my tummy I think what ever they gave me in surgery is wearing off I'm looking forward to having some Optifast tomorrow (oh can't believe I said that) roll on recovery and weight loss kiwijet we've got this Sent from my iPhone

Giggles75 You must be so thirsty you poor thing Im hoping by now you have had some Water let me know how that goes each time I sip I get some either pain or noise or both I'm starting to get stomach spasms and pain in shoulders now But no vomiting or anything so that's good it hurts to breathe deep and bend over but other than that I'm all good Let us know an update on how you are going. Mine went well back in the room 2.5 hours later asked for nausea meds no nausea or vomiting just tender stomach muscles like I pulled something and pain behind breast bone after sipping and burping but I'm doing great so far pain (am loaded on morphine) is way way less than I thought I'm in private hospital till Thursday feel hungry Water is it but I think it's just my stomach acid surgeon came In Earlier said everything went great no issues. Cowboys4life I'm doing good went in at lunch time in my room 2.5 hours later loaded up on nausea meds no nausea I request it so I don't get nausea no vomiting tender tummy like muscle pain when moving have been sipping my Water I've done well but if I take to much or to close together I get pain behind my Breast bone and I burp alot after drinking but honestly I feel pretty good gosh private hospital is so good so attentive my own room and lots of drugs How are you going???? Stevencornell69 I'm in new Zealand I'm feeling ok had the Opp at lunch time can drink small amounts of Water But when I take pills a slight pain behind Brest bone loaded up on nausea meds which I requested prior not nausea or vomiting tummy is tender to touch muscles sore nothing major How are you?????? Kesha1020 I'm in New Zealand I'm good I went through a time last week of changing my mind a lot it's hard as its forever I thought if I just paid for the surgery early it would help with the decision it's helped a little bit. I'm just worried about the pain and gas afterwards really and its a lot of money and I need this to be successful and I'm worried about my mindset old habits etc What are your concerns?
