I was sleeved on 8/2/16.....I'm 46 (47 in Nov)....live in SE/Coastal GA.....
My stats:
HGT: 5'3"
HW: 235
SW: 202.4
CW: 179.8
GW: 130-135
(I'm a complicated case...I'm disabled due to nerve damage & chronic pain which limits my mobility & ability to do much exercising....I also have a colostomy & a very large & severe parastomal hernia....as soon as possible (@ BMI of 30.0 or less) I will be having surgery to repair the hernia & relocation of my stoma)
Currently 5 wks post-op & been on a full diet since 8/31. Still struggling to get enough fluids and calories in every day.....I've only been able to get to 800cal twice so far....still at about 2 ozs per meal (tho' last night I had 3 ozs for dinner & was miserable)....yesterday I hit 32 ozs of Water but it was not easy.....really not hungry & food isn't appealing to me....WLS medical team said that every thing I'm experiencing is completely normal for this stage of recovery and that I'm doing great....wish I had more energy & WLS medical team says that once I'm eating & drinking more my energy will increase.
All & all very happy with my decision.
Nice to meet other VSGs with similar surgiversaries!!!
