    1 day post op

I totally know where you are. It was horrible nausea for me too and terrible gas pains. Hang in there. Zofran did'nt work for my nausea. I had to have Promethazine. It's stonger on nausea but it makes you super sleepy. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using the BariatricPal App
  2. Greetings fellow sleevers! I am one month post op. All of my surgery pain has gone away but a little over a week ago I started having a terrible sharp pain down below my belly button. Its not the really sore surgery pain that we all felt on our left sides. It feels different. Like if I move a certain way someone stabs me down by my belly button with a red hot knife. Makes me gasp and grab for my belly out of instinct to the pain. When I wake up on the morning it is better but by the end of the day it is really intense. Has anyone else experienced this? Yes, I have spoken to my surgeon but he just said to wait and see if it gets better. Its been over a week and so far it isnt a bit better. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using the BariatricPal App
  3. I am one month out and I cant even finish one scrambled egg. Today at work my boss ordered pizza and mini buffalo wings for the office. I literally couldnt even get down one whole mini buffalo wing. I would count yourself lucky because atleast you are able to get more of your daily Protein in with food and not having to substitute with what seems like a gazillion nasty Protein shakes like me. Good luck fellow sleever! Take care. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using the BariatricPal App
  4. Dear Fellow Sleever, I am one month out and you are already doing better than me. I try my hardest to get the 64oz of Water in per day but usually only get in about 40oz. I sip all day but if I try to force in too much throughout the day it makes me sick and I hurt...or worse the water just comes back up. The Protein is the same way. Even at a month out and on a regular diet I can only eat about 2-3 bites of food...not even 1 whole scrambled egg so I obviously cannot get my 60-80g of protein per day with food alone. I try to substitute with shakes but I still cant fit in all the water, shakes and food in to reach my goal. It is very frustrating and hard when I hear about other patients who have no problems getting more in their sleeves. I have spoke with my doc and he said just do the absolute best you can to reach those water/protein goals and I will get there. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using the BariatricPal App
