  1. Best decision I've made in my life. I'm down 75 kg (165 lb) in around 11 months and working for the last 17 kg to reach my goal weight. A small advice to all weight stuck sleevers, GYM GYM GYM ! SW: 176.6 kg (389 lbs) CW: 102 kg (224 lbs) GW: 85 kg (187 lbs)
  2. cool man. the first couple of months will be a little bit hard, but you're about to enter a wonderful phase in your life. You'll feel down sometimes, but it's all worth it when you see yourself in the mirror after a while :-)
  3. Haha I try to, but i always end up looking grumpy in pictures, don't know why though lol
  4. Oh I'm sorry to hear that :-( 105 lbs wow ! Keep up the good work !
  5. You're entering a new phase in your life. A totally different lifestyle. Best of luck !
  6. Actually my doctor said i can go swimming after around 2 weeks post-op, the same with cardio training. But i had to wait to 6 months to start weight lifting. I usually go 3 to 4 times a week, it depends. I still from time to time cheat a little bit lol but the most important thing is to always exercise. it's always the solution for weight loss stalls.
  7. @ssbthodge Thank a lot ! Best of luck to you too !

  10. I removed my gallbladder along with the sleeve. My surgeon told me that the op. took around 2h and i started to wake up after 3h. However, I still felt a little bit drugged. It took me around 6 hours after the op. to like officially wake up and see who was around.

    Alcohol Post Op

I think they meant that your body needs to digest the food you took and it usually takes up to 30 minutes but the thing is, they are absolutely right ! If i drink before these 30 min I will feel a little bit unconformable. I tried drinking with my meal once and i would never do that again. Btw I don't usually stick up with the don't drink 30 min before my meal, it usually doesn't affect me.

    Any FEBRUARY sleevers?!

Hi guys, I was sleeved 6 and a half months ago and it's going pretty well. Fortunately, I had no complications and I have lost around 120 pounds but i think I hit a stall the last 2 weeks so i subscribed in a nearby gym and started exercising. Approx. 70 pounds left till i reach my goal weight :-)

    Going back to work

I was sleeved on 14th of March too and got back to work today. I was a little bit tired at first but it went good since I have a desk job. Sent from my SM-G928C using the BariatricPal App

    4 Days post op

@JamieLogical: great ! Thanks a lot for your reply:-) One more question, I'm taking around 1.5 liters (50 ounces)per day and sometimes 250 ml (8 ounces) in one sitting by sips. Is that too much ? And how will I know if I'm taking too much? (By vomiting?, hopefully not) And if so, will it affect the sutures that will cause a leakage? Thanks again. 4 Days post op

I'm 4 days post-op as well. I removed my gallstone along with the sleeve. My first 2 days were horrific. I got better by the 3rd day and today was quite good. I'm just feeling a little bit pain when I start moving or doing errands. I'm craving for big gulps of Water. I wasn't able to drink some water so I'm sticking to cranberry and pineapple juice. I drank today a whole bottle of apple juice (250 ml) by sips of course and it didn't bother me a bit. My doc said that I can start taking puree after 1 week post op. Which will be this Monday. I'm doing better day after day so i think the hard part is gone. I feel i am always thirsty as well as full at the same time. Can someone tell me when will I be able to start taking big gulps of water ? Thanks a lot. Returning to work on Monday as well. Sent from my SM-G928C using the BariatricPal App
