Need some encouragement, motivation and words of wisdom

It is normal to have the rhoughts you are having. It is a major change to your life. The sleeve is your tool you will be full but you will crave other foods. For me they don't taste the same and are easily avoided if I get my head straight. Loosing weight and feel8ng better will motivate you and you will have the BariatricPal family to support you every step of the way. Good luck you can do this and transform to a wnderful new life. -
Anyone else prescribed sucralfate
pegrae replied to Disneygirl70's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
It is used for gerd and ulcers and can protect your sleeve certainly appropriate for a new sleeve. Most of us take some medication the first month following surgery to protect our new sleeve or pouch. Good luck. -
I hate those stalls, i have been thinking shakes only for a week. I think I am eating too much food during the day. Arghhhh

Anyone go to Mexico solo?
pegrae replied to fancypants67's topic in Mexico & Self-Pay Weight Loss Surgery
I check references called patients and decided on dr. Illan bariatric pal team mexico. If Alex B. Founder of this site supports him it was good enough for me. BEST decision ever! BILL YANEZ is coordinator for team mexico. Tell him I sent you, he will take great care of you. Personal service no big business feeling. -
I lost when I did the liquid before surgery. Again they want to see how you are able to deal with food and a life style change. The more you can clear out those poor choices the better you walk will be postop. Stop now with sugar, pop, and breads and pasta. Protien vegetables and fruits you will feel amazing in a short time. The first week will be hard but you can do this!

Yes it can be. Miralax might be better long term. Once I got to more food bowels are working fine. I have a friend who a year out needs help. -

One month out expectations
pegrae replied to cogal's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
One month is hard, I thought I would loose so much weight. Only about9 pounds from date of surgery. 18 pounds preop. What was amazing is the number of inches lost. 29 in all. Hang in there weight loss will happen. Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App -
