Hi. My procedure went well on July 26th. The gas wasnt that bad. Now Im like 3 weeks out and I feel miserable after I eat. All I can take is 3 small fork full of anything. Im not trying scrambled eggs again. I still cant get in all my fluids because I always feel full. My protein shakes are tasting too too sweet.

First day on food and im not doing so good
Mudgy6 posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had grits, 3-4tsps, for Breakfast. No problem. Now lunch at 12:30, I had a scrambled egg.It took me a minute to eat it. That was ok til about two hours later when it was time for my Protein drink. OMG, I dont know what happened. IDK if it was the Protein Drink or my stomach just didnt want anything. It felt like it had gotten stuck in my chest, and trying to belch at the same time. That is not a good feeling. I kept trying to belch, and then it was the uncomfortable feeling in my chest. I knew something was trying to come back up. After that first dumping session, I felt a little better. I still feel like something is still stuck though. Now I just want to stay on fluids for the rest of my life. My stomach still feels full from the egg, I guess. Advice please. -
I've been diabetic for years. I take pills and insulin. My sugars have been good since my procedure 2 weeks ago. I'm afraid that when I start eating next week that it will change. How have your diabetic situation changed?

Mudgy6 replied to Jennifer Deen's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I managed on my own. I took my time being very careful not to bump into anything. I have a fridge in my room so that helped eventhough the dr want me to use the steps. Those first two days home I stayed upstairs until it was time to go for a walk Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -
