  1. This pregnancy was absolutely not planned. I ovulated 5 days before I should have this past cycle. Prior to this cycle, my body was like clockwork. Anyway, that early ovulation resulted in me now being 5 weeks pregnant. I am scared. I still have about 40-50 lbs I want to lose and now I'm worried this pregnancy will derail everything. I was already having a hard enough time with slow weight loss. I am going to try my hardest to continue to eat well and stay active this pregnancy to minimize the weight gain as much as possible while still growing a healthy baby. Are there any ladies experienced with this? Were you able to keep weight gain down? Did you continue losing after you gave birth? I'm really looking for some encouragement here. 2. Hi all. I started this process in January 2015 at 293lbs. I lost weight as part of my insurance requirements and after that and the 2 week pre-op diet, I was down to 254 on the morning of my surgery. Here I am, 7.5 months post and I have only lost 63lbs. I'm currently hovering around 191-193 and have only lost about 6 lbs in the last 2 months or so. I know I'm not doing everything right. I almost never drink enough Water. Exercise is non-existent. Between work and family I only get an hour or so (if I'm lucky) of me time each day and I really don't want to spend it exercising. I know some will say that's an excuse and it probably is. Ever since the holidays where I let myself indulge here and there, it's been hard getting back on track. I do great all week and then have a tendency to eat things I shouldn't on weekends. Obviously nothing like I used to eat, but some bad things nonetheless. I keep hearing my surgeons voice telling me that I need to lose all my excess weight in the first year. That's what he's always told me because apparently it gets harder after that. I still have 50 lbs I want to lose and I am beginning to feel like maybe I can't do it. I know what I need to do but something is holding me back from doing it. Has anyone else experienced this? What did you do to get back on track? I've even considered counseling to try to get my head straight. Someone talk some sense into me. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
