My wife and i are both 7 weeks out. She has had a hard time getting food or drinks in in general. However shes been really sick since saturday. Shes had bad diarrhea and saturday we had to take her to the ER. She had extremely low potassium due to the diarrhea. She is still having diarrhea and nausea every day. I am worried. The ER said the diarrhea was most likely from a virus, but she has no other symptoms. We got our syrgery in mexico so we have no follow up care. Has anyone had this experience before or any ideas??

If your therapist thought cognitive behavioral therapy could "cure" fibromyalgia then it's because they thought it was in your head. The point is that now that you're post op you're blaming your weight gain on your situation and specifically saying that you didn't have a problem with food and the entire thing wasn't your fault. When you were pre op, however, you blamed an addiction towards food and said that you couldn't stop overeating. You can't have it both ways, that was the point. It had nothing to do with your daughter. Sounds like you change your story depending on what suits you best. Once again, best of luck. It's fairly simple. For me, it was a 10 day diet. Only Protein shakes during the day and a salad with protein at night with low calorie dressing. Sent from my SM-G930T using the BariatricPal App

I had Dr Garcia this last March.. I had a really good experience. I live in San Diego so they just picked me up from my house.. most people I met were flying back home after. One girl told me that Dr Garcia told her to get up and walk on the plane when she was able to... I'm sure the flight home will absolutely be awful because you will feel sore and out of it, but it's doable and not the worst thing in the world! I didn't have any issues with the hospital or hotel.. my only thing was the nurses didn't speak the best English, so even tho they took care of you very well, there is a language barrier when you want to explain how you're feeling or ask a question.
