So I had my meeting with my patient advocate and she faxed request to my drs and she hasn't heard anything from them this was like a week or two ago. Once she gets those papers she can get them to my insurance and I can schedule my surgery once I'm approved I'm so anxious . I'm going to my first bariatric class tomorrow and only one more after that . I feel like I'm so close ! I'm just starting this journey my consultation with the surgeon is March 22nd . I worry a lot about complications and things that could go wrong in surgery more than anything .. So I spoke with my patient advocate all I have to do is get 2 years of visits from previous Dr ✔ PCP referral ✔ 2 classes which I have both sceduled And I have to have pysch eval then I can schedule my surgery !! When I got the call from the bariatric facility she told me that my insurance doesn't require Any type of diet so it should go pretty quick I hope it does I meet with my surgeon Monday so I hope they can give me a better insight .
