    It's happening!

Maybe try sugar free gum I find it helps a ton as well as start your multi vitamin it will help with energy. Also a solid 8 hours sleep every night if possible
  3. @@claddagh66 I know when I saw the scale I didn't believe it haha. Motivates me definitely. I am fine energy wise now it honestly isn't as bad as I thought it would be. I've cooked for my family and had no issues not eating it I find Mio the water flavoring helps alot so I don't get bored with water also eating ice so I can chew something and sugarless gum between those 3 things I feel like they saved me lol from strictly shakes and water for 3 weeks. I started taking my multi vit and hair skin and nails so maybe helping energy wise and I have an active niece that lives with me so I make sure to promise her a walk every morning she never forgets and never gives up until I get off my butt so we walk 30 mins every day just around town. I certainly do have facebook add me Taren Matthew
  4. I'm April 4 and super excited started my pre op liquid diet last Monday and I'm down 20 lbs as of yesterday. Very happy with my decision and anxious to get it done and move on! North of Toronto Canada here

  6. I am on optifast for 3 weeks before surgery. 4-5 Shakes per day only and 8 cups of water including the water in the shakes and I'm allowed 2 cups of brocolli celery or lettuce per day if I need it and I'm 1 week and 2 days into the pre op diet and I'm down 20 lbs already it's a great diet and was hard at first but now not bad at all

Yes I am doing my optifast 900 diet so only protein shakes and water for 3 weeks I can also have up to 2 cups of brocolli celery or lettuce per day if I absolutely need it which I have only eaten 2 times
  11. RNY April 4 - so confused about where to get my vitamins for after surgery and what is best. Also what shakes are the best and I don't want to spend an astronomical amount on that stuff.

    Hursitism & PCOS?

These are the ones I just search hair removal pads and go down until I see the cheapest ones. You can get them in the store for like 11 bucks by all the depilatory stuff but u only get 6.
  15. I got the call today that my date is set. I'm a ball of emotions fear hope happiness nervous. I dont know what I should expect after surgery besides what my doctors have told me. This is the first time I have found a group of people who are in the same boat as me. I am in Canada though I notice most here are American. Sent from my SGH-I337M using the BariatricPal App
  16. There is unflavored protein powder you can add to anything really so maybe try that

    It's happening!

Yep its all a learning curve hun don't let one slip get you down cuz there will probably be 5 more before your journey is over you are learning and adjusting to a whole new life so get up dust yourself off and get back on track no pain no gain
  18. mizzzzzzT

    Not really losing

If you don't like water you can try the sugar free MIO or water flavoring just tastes like juice and there is tons of options for different flavors! Also eating ice will help keep you hydrated too

  23. Yea I know exactly what you mean lol one day at a time. I dealt with it in a public family dinner last night where everyone was munching on bread and chili I was sipping my shake and they seem to be sensitive but they don't get it I love this app for this
  24. Every surgeon has different standards and it is based on weight as well as a bunch 0f other things I have seen some who don't have to do any preop liquid diet and others up go 4 weeks on here Some people need to do a 6 month diet and loose before surgery is even considered
  25. Yea I expected that too and to have horrible hunger pains but I don't. My biggest hunger pain is in my head my body is satisfied it's so wierd
