That's my date as well. I just finished day 4 of 11 on my Optifast diet. It hasn't been that bad. I've lost 10 lbs already. The chocolate shake and the chicken flavored soup are the best. It will be interesting to go a full week at work on this liquid diet. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -
I have a really nice Vitamix blender. I want to know who has something like the ninja, magic bullet, or nutribullet with the single serve cups and why you like it. I am thinking about getting one just for my shakes for after surgery so I don't have to wash the big blender every time. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Back on October 22, 2015 was my initial consultation and when I decided to start my journey toward weight loss surgery. A little over four months, several classes, tests, and appointments later and I'm waiting for the call from my surgeon with my surgery date and the beginning of my two week liquid diet. I'm very very excited about the life to come, but I'm also very nervous about the life changes and the unknowns that are still yet to be discovered. At this point I just hope that my surgery date isn't too far off. I know I've waited this long, and had a wonderful life ... I'm ready to begin the next chapter on a healthier path. -
Does anyone else have sleep apnea that has gone away after surgery? I am doing whatever it takes to have this surgery, but I am a bit upset. I just had to go and get a CPAP machine because I have very mild sleep apnea. I'm on the lowest setting the machine has. I can't help but feel that it is just a doctor wanting more money. I was told that the apnea will probably go away after surgery but I still have to have my CPAP machine for these few weeks that I have left before surgery, and right after. Ugh. Wasteful. Thanks. I got a call today. Three hurdles left before surgery. I have my final appointment with my surgeon, my final insurance approval, then we can schedule my surgery and start my two weeks optifast diet. So close, yet so far away.
