Good Morning, Can't stay long.... not much to report. My first victory was getting everybody dressed and to school on time after vacation! They boys collected all kinds of eggs yesterday(most with money) and made some new friends. I sat outside freezing my butt off and was not a happy camper. My friend Terry raises chickens and I Soooooo want to do that! I have my Psych follow-up this week with the cute Dr and once again hounding the EX for support payment that was due Saturday Well, its back to work and LOTS of tummy aches -- bye!

Happy Easter! Relieved that LBT is back up.... or was it just my computer? I just baked an upside-down pumpkin pecan pie.... needs to chill. :hungry: My co-worker Terry invited all of us to her home after church. I'm honored that folks want to have our company. For years NO ONE invited us for potlucks and such and its because my EX wasn't much fun to be around, and that hurts.... anyway I baked a huge pan of cornbread and am SO ready to have conversation with adults. The kids will get to hunt for eggs and we will teach everyone the art of egg fighting(garrett is a master). Hope this message find everyone in good health and happiness.

In 1992 I gave birth to my darling twin sons! Then came the comments.... "are they natural" or "did you use infertility drugs" How often are you asked while banking about A) Birth Control and :eek: your sex life? People really don't understand how rude and they can be in public. I vote that you turn up the music at the gym!

Dear Sherry, Vent all you want :eek: get it all out! Just don't start eating, OK. We love you and only want the best for you.... HUGS. Hey, the boys and I just came back from a research trip for a TIVO machine.... one of those TV recorder devices. I found a great deal and don't really need one of these things but it would be SO much fun! See what having a job does, the money goes to my head! I won't rush in to buy, sale expires 4/30(payday). The kids and I watched a demo and they all think it's really cool. Tivo can fast forward commercials during any live show and rewind too! Man, there are days when I'm watching Survivor and someone talks and I missed something..... I could rewind the episode -- how crazy would that be?! OK.... I'm gonna keep a cool head and not rush into anything, I have 15 days to think about it. Hope all my friends are having a good weekend -- it rained here buckets.

It's Good Friday..... I Love Easter! The boys are still asleep but promised to help me prepare for our private celebration. Clean, decorate and cook. Then this afternoon we are going to research/shop for a TIVO, not sure if we're gonna buy.... who knows? OK..... who here doesn't know that I live only a 12 minute drive to DISNEYLAND. I try..... doesn't always happen, but I try to visit the Magic Kingdom once a week. During the summer I go 2-3 times a week. I know that it's a theme park but I don't visit like a tourist either. I am an active member of 2 Disney clubs and a few years ago I was their VP. Over the years I've gotten to know and recognize, what we here call "Disney Legends" Margaret Kerry is one of these (she's the REAL Tinkerbell) and is a personal friend of mine. My kids like Bob Gurr(he built Autopia Cars) and Terri Harden(a puppeteer for Country Bears movie & Men in Black). Last August I got to finally meet Alice Davis who made ALL the costumes for "It's a Small World", "Pirates of the Carribean" and "Haunted Mansion". Being a costumer myself this was a moment that I will never forget. I privately got to talk with her and then had a photo taken with her. I know that this stuff is extremely boring for most people.... I'm a history buff and it keeps me out of trouble. My Q&A session will be in just a moment...... Garrett wants some Rice Krispies for breakfast! BYE!

Hello, I survived my trip to D-land, but my Butt hurts from sitting on the ground(somehow all the padding back there doesn't help)! Eileen:Ahhhh, the tale of the Snotty Tutor, I thought I told that one? I will paraphrase that bedtime story! It was a Saturday evening at 5pm. I was making dinner when Toby calls. I had arranged that we skip lessons on a friday afternoon cause the kids wanted to go to a new Christian coffeehouse so, I asked if Toby wouldn't mind tutoring on a Sunday. He calls to tell me he is coming at 12:15pm...... well, thats lunchtime. So he says he will be here at 12:30. Now, I explain that I have 4 children to feed and that is STILL lunchtime. He gets an angry and huffy and I gently said "whoa, slow down" then he got REALLY angry and said that he was trying to accomodate me and that I was being rude! I shut up and he continued to rant and rave(no lie) when he got to fever pitch he hung up on me! I was pretty mad and a bit flustered afterward but then realized that this geek just tied a rope around his neck and hung himself. I didn't like this guy from the beginning and AJ back at the office said that I should give him a try..... so I did. It doesn't bother me that Toby the immature little snot didn't want to play nice. Within a day I got an email name and phone number for a new gal, and a direct "WE NEED TO TALK" from AJ. I phoned Stephanie, arranged dates and times and I never called AJ! The tutoring will end April 30 and my kids are doing better. Did I mention that I sorta charge Dan for the lessons? Hummmmmmm, oops! :Banane04:

Happy Wednesday! Hey, I finally went to Curves and went one lap around the machines. I'm going real slow so that my heart doesn't race. My objective is to get to know all the machines and then after surgery I will act like I know what I'm doing. Pat: I keep thinking about your situation and my heart breaks for Haley. She's the kid that lives in the nurses office.... I get lots of them. Thank you for letting her teacher know, school personnel aren't mind readers and you did a good thing. Well, today is a Disneyland day. My twins have to meet with their tutor this morning and me and the other boys will be packing a snack bag. We are taking blankets, pillows and KFC and camping out by the arena where they will be showing "Fantasmic" this evening. They boys love being in the front row and in order to do that we have to be there hours before show time. My guess is that we should set up by 3pm for a 9pm show. It's mother love or I'm crazy! Thats it for now...... I gotta pack!

Dear Pat, OMG that was painful to read. How badly was your arm hurt? Please clarify for me.... your son and Miz Post Partum aren't married are they? I am SO worried about your newborn grandchild, and what happens next. Is your home protected from her trying to harm you, your husband and or property? She won't try to light anything on fire would she? Keep your chin up sweets..... I'm glad she's gone. Hugs,

Well, everyone I survived the Psych Evaluation! 2 more to go ! Dr. Kellogg..... young and cute. During our little chat he tells me that he has NEVER been to Disneyland. After I closed my mouth, all I could say was "this office is 3 city blocks from there and you have never visited?" The only reason this entered into the conversation was his question.... "what do you do for fun?" Well, I passed with flying colors and left with 2 more appts in my book. Happiness

Good Morning Ladies, it's Monday! Today is my first day of Spring Break and I have lots of plans. The boys are still asleep cause I let them stay up and watch TV until 10pm(something I NEVER let them do). MY Psych appointment is this afternoon.... kind of curious what they will be asking. Any hints you guys? The twins have their tutor coming today and I have inside and outside chores that need to be done. I was at the grocery store last night and just looked at the hams, I gotta decide Easter dinner, anyway happiness that we're on vacation. I heard that the EXDH's wife is put out with me! Because Dan bounced that check on me, he brought me everything in cash and apologized. I was out funds for over a week but didn't say anything.... I just mentioned that my kitchen lights needed replacing and could he bring a ladder and fix it. I knew he was gonna say yes(he would be embarassed not to) so, on Sunday he came to do it.... what the kids told me was the wife is "put out" with me asking for favors that I KNOW he will preform. Quote:"let her get her own light bulbs" What I'm willing to bet money on is that he doesn't tell her when he bounces checks or breaks promises to the kids and playing both sides is gonna kill him. Ahhhh, so much more entertaining than a Soap Opera! Bye, Guys!

Happy Sunday! Dear Sherry: (giggling) your son is precious and totally cute! Does he want to meet my 4... I think they would have a great time. Your ring and flowers are all so beautiful, I thought I was the only person who liked "red, white & blue" stuff. I became a US citizen on Dec 15, 1978 and it was one of the most difficult events of my life(long story) anyway I'am MUCHO proud of my citizenship and ultra patriotic. When I see something cute in the stars & stripes I get it. When I went to WDW I found a denim jacket with a flag patch on the back and the stars are mickey heads! When I shrink it will be too big for me.... what should I do? Ohhhh, and you like fishies..... me too! I have a 10 gallon tank with 25 cent feeder gold fish that are about 4 years old and GiNormous in size.... no really! When I come up to the tank they think that I'm gonna feed them and when I talk to them from across the room they answer me. The big one can actually lift the glass lid and get water to splash on the counter! I call them my "dog" fish because they respond to "here boy!" and "good dog" commands -- crazy! Eileen: You've already had 4 of them fills.... Please be careful not to get too tight, I sure wouldn't want you to get swelled up and then nothing will be able to get down . I am really glad that it doesn't hurt getting them.... I'll be asking for advice real soon. Thanks for the holiday food hints... I'm such a space cadet sometimes. Oh, I wanted to tell you and Cindy that I went to the Disney Cast Member store(by invitation only) and bought up a storm. This is retail merchandise priced 50% - 75% off and then cast members can use employee discounts above that. So I was getting logo t-shirts for $5 and fanny packs for $4. They had a bin with silicone bracelets for .25 and I got a handful. I spent $150 and will be stashing some of it for christmas. I have been invited to CompanyD about 5 times and try to make the most of a shopping trip .... Sherry I don't think you would have fun with me How about a wine tasting? Good Afternoon, I forgot to sleep in and hit the garage sales before breakfast! Today is my Garretts 11th Birthday and I called him as soon as I got up. I sang to him and he giggled. I got him all the things he put on his list and he asked that I make Funnel Cake for him when he returns to me tomorrow. After my sales I went to Walmart...... that place is crazy, which I knew it would be for a Saturday. I found a movie that I'm saving for my "at home post op days" and picked up that trusty heating pad. I bought a book, came home ate lunch and fell asleep. The ringing phone woke me up..... and now I'm all groggy and spacey. Dear Mom Eileen: For sale one stupid train.... it's in the closet, help yourself. And the meds are AWESOME I can finally take a breath -- me like them alot! Dear Cindy: I'm SO jealous.... a size 20/18 huh? I can only dream! Congrats. Dear Sherry: You're SO pretty! OK and all of you who are talking about Easter dinner -- quit it! You all just reminded me that I have to make something this year cause I forgot that I have all the kids! :hungry: OK, I need to regroup and devise a plan.... Shall I order a small ham and bacon wrap the asapargus? potato flakes or real? Lewis likes rice. What about ordering one of those boxed meals at Vons? Happy Thursday! Dear Kelly: I wish I had some supportive words for life with hubby but, men are truly from another planet. I spent 14 years with a disfunctional robot-model husband only to find out that I got blamed for everything. When my Christian husband ran to the clubs and emptied the 401K I wanted to know WHY.... his answer "I needed attention" and "what I did isn't illegal" !??! Still haven't figured that one out! I promise to pray for your situation but honestly, you may need some professional help. My ex-husband lost job after job and even sabotaged one by doing weird office behavior. Man I wish I was making this stuff up.... sounds like a TV movie. Sure, I had my hands full raising/caring for all 4 boys and when Lewis was born with his heart defect and me needing to take him to the cardiologist every 3 days(no lie) as well as try to nurse him and care for the others..... I was supposed to do what with the husband? Lewis was born in Dec of 1999 and we split in March of 2002. I couldn't hold it together any longer than that. The years of helping him locate jobs, type resumes and finally the Christian counselling. I had tried everything. Kelly, I'm not saying that things will turn out badly for you guys. The fact that when you went away and in secret he ended his job putting his family in financial danger is totally not a responsible act. It's self-centered and immature. If it's a "Red flag" then you need to take action. I want to let you know that you are one of my favorite people here at LBT. Give Dylan a hug for me :kiss2:

Good Evening everyone, I have a new victory to share..... I found a new Psych and already have an appointment for April 10th! After all the weeks of struggle this happened in just minutes and now I'm alittle freaked. I called Jodi at my clinic to ask if my "list of things to do" was any longer and she said "NO", but she would make sure Dietician notes get submitted and Psych reports soon after. After that I get a surgeon consult and a date(breathe.... I need to breathe). So, for the first time I've become anxious. Just thought I would tell someone. Talk later,

:whoo: It's Official..... I got hired Today! :whoo: So, lets remember 4/4/06... only 3 months from when I really started working. If this position wasn't SO important to me I would have given up long ago. Thanks everyone for all your encouragement. I stopped by the Daycare Office and told them I had a hire date and my employee discount becomes effective immediately! Words that I thought I would never hear! I am re-energized and feeling more positive... maybe just maybe I will get through my last 3 steps to lapband. :bandit Bye!

Morning All, Dear Cindy, you sound so chipper this morning, it warms my heart. I'm here trying to adjust to daylight savings time..... man, was it difficult waking up the kids and getting them moving. This week is conference week which means everyday is minimum day -- yeah! My project this week is to find a new psych and make an appointment. Tonight is a lapband support meeting.... we'll see how I'm doing later today. The ExDH bounced a child-support check :speechles I have all kinds of good things to say about that! Yesterday the boys and I went to Disneyland. It was sunny and warm and lots of fun. We saw a Hill Billy show, a parade and went on a scavenger hunt all before dinner time. :kiss2:

Happy April Everyone! I haven't logged on for 2 days because something was wrong with my server :eek:. I think I missed a few things... need to go back and read. Just wanted to let my friends know that I didn't pass on or anything. Kids are with me this weekend.... haircuts, errands and working on a B-day party(sorta). I just completed ALL my dietician appointments -- YEAH! Now all I need to do are those psych visits.... need to find a new one. Thats all folks!
