  1. Have you already had your band removed, or are they doing the removal and revision at the same time? I am having my band removed and sleeve revision in one surgery (that's the plan anyway!) Aiming for the end of July! Good luck!! Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App I had my band removed in 2013! I had a terrible slip and was very very sick! 2. I'm so glad I found this post that I can relate to! I was banded at 19 years old and 347 lbs. I got down to 180 but was so sick and unhealthy. I had a major slip and had it out almost 3 years ago. I swore no more wls! However after a juicing diet nearly landed me in the hospital I knew I had to do something. I had gained back to 300 lbs but have maintained around 270-280 for the past year! Anyway I'm scheduled to have the sleeve in 10 days so I'm currently knee deep in the stupid liquid diet hahaha I'm so nervous but excited to get the weight off again. I know it's been a lot on my body and mind to be all over the place with my weight! I'm here for all of you and hope we all experience amazing success! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet....

I started my liquid diet the same day as you! My surgeon is super strict with it as well, I can only have the shakes, sf Jello and Popsicles! It sucks!!! It totally "crashed" my immune system too and I had to call in to work yesterday with a flu bug! When is your surgery supposed to be? Mine is scheduled for the 16th! 5. I'm so glad someone asked this! I had lapband in 2011 but can't remember how much time I took off. I think I took off two weeks, but I remember thinking I could've gone back sooner. Now I'm getting the sleeve Wednesday March 16 and I told work I'd probably be back the following Wednesday. As it gets closer I'm thinking I should've planned for more time off, though I'm fully unpaid. I'm a teacher, but working as a substitute 3 days per week at a school, in a very active role. I'm worried about going back to soon but worried about being without income while I'm gone:( has anyone in a more active job gone back after one week? Or is this completely unrealistic? I think everyone is different and it depends on the person, pain level, age and all the other factors as well! Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
