I am getting close to two years since my RNY and am so happy I made the life changing decision I did. I have PCOS and Auto Immune Thyroid disease. I lost a total of 93lbs and have maintained my weight for the past year. I have not gained back one pound. I just want to share to give encouragement to anyone that needs it! Keep going, plan your meals and know that you got this! Start Weight - 250lbs Current Weight - 157lbs Height - 5’5

I am 41 yrs old Surgery date was July 13 2016. My highest weight was 250 and I am 5'5. I am now 161 and a size 8/10. I have no skin issues and feel great. Stick with it. I have not gained back one pound and have followed everything to the letter. Having the RNY was the best thing I have done for my health! -
Thank you! I had my surgery at St Joseph's through Healtheast with Dr Kelly. I had no complications whatsoever!

I am one year out on the 13th of July and Chili is my go to still. I make it at home but do ok with it at a restaurant. The crock pot has turned into my best friend!

I have both and had my Bypass on July 13, 2016. For me it has drastically reduced my symptoms and I have lost 85 lbs. I do not regret having surgery at all and am feeling amazing! Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I had my 6 month post op appointment today and I am so happy! No more sleep apnea, no more borderline type 2 diabetes and I am just 20lbs from my goal weight. It feels so good to follow the doctors orders and get the results! Hard work pays off! If you are discouraged keep going! We got this!! SW 249 CW 168 Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I had a RNY on July 13th and have already lost 73 lbs since my 2 week pre op! I am happy with my results but I am down to 172 which is pretty hard for me to wrap my head around. Is this to fast? I still can only eat just a little over 1/4 cup of food. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I had to read your post again because I thought it was mine. I did great on the pre opp but now that I am six days out I have no appetite and am having a hard time getting in all my liquids and Protein. Puréed foods start tomorrow so I am hoping it will be easier. Good luck ... You are not alone Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

6 days post opp RNY having hard time hitting liquid and protein goal
MnGirl40 posted a topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
I am 6 days post opp and am feeling pretty good. I am off my narcotic pain meds and not too sore. I am just having a hard time drinking enough liquid and getting all of my Protein. It sits fine in my stomach I just have zero appetite! I hit 50 g of protein and about 45 oz of Water today but could not do any more. Does any one have any good tips on how to get through this? I have my post opp class tomorrow and go to my puréed foods so maybe that will be easier. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -
