    Sleeved March 10th

To be fair, no one I used for the operation is now in contacr after a huge issue arose thay almost left my mom and I stranded in Mexico the day we were meant to come home. I have emailed the surgeon and my coordinate and liason and have heard nothing back. Funny how the responses were so quick before the operation. I did not receive a post op diet, I just figured I'd stick with the Protein shakes and light liquids I was doing before the surgery until I felt like I was ready to try soft food. My biggest accomplishment thus far is sleeping on my side. I'm using New whey shots(40 grams of protein) in between Water, and I am also on a nightmare oral antibiotic and Tylenol as needed for pain. 3. Had a really terrible experience with Quality Medical facilitators. They seemed to be so great and once I arrived in Mexico it all went to hell. Dr. Camelo did the procedure no problem but I saw him 10 minutes before I was put under and 5 minutes the next day in a post op visit. Anyone use him or this group? What were your experiences? Anyone from NJ

I was sleeved on the 10th in Tiajuana and for 36 hours was given 1000 ml bags of Tramadol. The doctor literally called me a cry baby because I kept complaining of pain. Other people who were at the facility popped right up and seemed to have no issues. I'm 4 daya out and still hurting so badly I can't lay flat, and turning in any sort of oblique position feels like someone sucker punched me. I thought I may have done some damage with the crazy taxi rides and airplane turbulence heading home and was super afraid of herniation. I just finally had to take what my mom said into consideration there's no right way or wrong way for this to go. Everyone is different and if you're in pain then address the pain. So many people have made me feel "small" when I tall about how bad I am hurting but this truly would be a cake walk aside from that. The further away from surgery date I get the less the pain is but it decreases in small measurements. I hope you feel better. I'm living on ibuprofen and antibiotics and prayers! 5. Pain is finally starting to subside, main incision is giving me hell. Tons of indigestion and pain when taking deep breaths or in my lower back around kidney areas. No blood in urine and no difficulty urinating just around constant pain despite walking and flatulence. Had a nightmare experience in Tiajuana and rushed recovery due to unforeseen issues. I'm back on US soil and can't get any answers or help from the "team" that couldn't wait to take my money. I'm exhausted a lot faster than normal and for the first time yesterday had some broth rather than Water or juice. I'm just wondering how far out everyone is before the pain lessens, and they tackled soft foods. I sipped my water at a huge family function yesterday but that broccoli and cheese never looked so good! I also haven't done too many shakes, the ones I liked before aren't sitting well with my stomach and I don't seem to like the flavor anymore. I suppose I just need any andndnnythings every bit of info and input I can get. Knowledge is power! Don't regret my decision to do it and I haven't weighed myself yet, trying to avoid equating success by pounds lost. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using the BariatricPal App
