yesterday I drove up to Indianapolis to meet my mom and sister. Miss Margaret, my baby is spending the summer with them in Michigan. We went on a 4.5 mile hike, in the heat no less (thankful for SHADE) and at one point there were several flights of stairs leading to an observation deck. I had been hanging back walking with Mama, but decided to sprint up to my sister, start playing "the eye of the tiger" and run past her all the way up the flights of stairs. I didn't even need to think about would I be tired, or could I do it. I just did. She rose to the challenge and we had a fun "race" to the top. I am so thankful for my WLS and the improved health it has brought.
