I'm 2 weeks out and have had the same pain for the past week. I called my surgeon and he took me right away. The left side is where they do most of the work in surgery so there will be more pain there but he thought I pulled a muscle in the same area and did a nerve block which didn't get rid of it but it definitely helped. Yes I do. I had it even before surgery and I've even blacked out, but I had a hiatal hernia which was repaired in surgery. Prior to surgery I would have to drink lots of Water to push the food down but now when I do that I vomit the water. I mentioned it to my surgeon today and he was baffled. I'm only 2 weeks out and on soft foods. I believe it's my new full feeling because I don't have the old full feeling anymore. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
