Well if your just getting the sleeve. I'm pretty sure you'll get satisfactory results. As I've seen other successes on here and my co-worker actually got the sleeve and lost 120lbs and have kept it off for 3 years now. You can't possiby overeat as it will make you feel sick, dizzy, or you'll just vomit. But you don't want to do that all the time since you can stretch your pouch and gain weight.

Thank you! Are you getting the Sips done? I am sooo happy I did this. And my family and friends notice how much more energy I have now than before. You won't regret it.

I am 4 weeks and I get hungry every now and then...although everyone says its head hunger...I just stick to the 4 oz of yogurt/baby food/mush per meal until 7-9weeks when I can start solids and apparently after a month or so you should feel "real" hunger.

Well. I don't have any major health issues. And my surgeon is one of the best here in the Northwest. Dr. srikanth. So I can assume it all depends on the doctors and your health history. But I was surprised too cause I was assuming I'd stay at least one night. But I did all the test and passed exceedingly like the breathing test and cough test and Ofcourse a slew of other test s. So I got to heal at home. Which was best.

I am now 6 days post-op. My first and second day after surgery were the worst! I was in immediate pain when I woke up. They were gas pains and mine lasted all day. They were worse than labor pains my opinion at least those came and left for me and it could be pain free if you recieve epidural. But these gas pains were no joke! I was on pain killers and it still didn't ease the pain much. The doctors said to just walk it out theres really not much and gas-x. I had no problem with walking just a couple hours after surgery and it helped. The 3rd and so fourth days are better. I'm in no pain and I had no problem with Water consumption.

My surgery date for the sips/sadi-s procedure is on 4-14-16! I'm excited, nervous, and kind of scared. There's not a lot of group forums that support with this kind of procedure...

Thank you for your encouraging words! I'm definately going to do them.Oh and drink and track your Water. If I focus more on tracking my Water, Proteins, Vitamins, etc it helps to distract as well. I was drinking 100oz of water per day and it really helped!

Thank you sooo much!!! I receive all of that!@, I'd like to recommend that you attend the surgery practice's support group. You can succeed if you make up your mind, but, because you regained the weight you lost in the six month period, you should build as much of a support network as possible. If your practice, doesn't have a group, contact others that are nearby. They probably will welcome you to their groups at no charge.
Something else to consider is seeing a therapist who has particular experience with weight and food issues.
I really do believe you can get through the next several weeks and continue losing weight after surgery, but there's no such thing as having too much support.

For my 6 month supervised diet, I lost weight and then gained it all back within the last 2 months so suegeon says to me to just go all liquid diet til I see him on the 4th of April and then 2 weeks from that visit I assume lll be on the all liquid clear diet since my surgery is exactly 10 days from then. But even if it were shorter. How would I have done it 10 days before surgery without cheating. If I can't even do it in advance.

I'm having a hard time sticking to the clear liquid diet. I'm on it for 6 weeks starting March 1st and I can't stick to it consistently without cheating. Trust me I want to but then I end up messing up. Its depressing and upsetting. I have 4 small kids ranging from 5 to 10 months old. I'm not sure if its just mommy stress and other personal stress but I just can't seem to stick to it. Surgery date is 4/14/16. Any tips out there? Help.

I find that I have more will power to resist eating junk food. But, I think because I'm not as hungry I'm better able to handle it. Before surgery if I wanted fast food junk food I had no will power what so ever and I just ate what I wanted. But, I think you'll do well. Just be positive.
