Yes. I ate small little sins on my pre op diet ( pieces of chicken breast and an oreo cookie). It had brought such guilt but I had an epiphany afterwards, and that was if you're doing this pre op how in the hell will you survive post op. Im glad I did eat the little sins because it allowed me to reevaluate my decision. After feeling sad for a bit I figured that life was about trial and error and we make mistakes, but we can't kill ourselves with guilt because of the mistakes. In my time of re-evaluation I discovered that I had ate the foods not because I was hungry but because it was there and I was tired of liquid. I am now 8 days post op VSG and I do not crave solids nor have I eaten any little sins lol. My advice to you would stop now, take a laxative (if allowed by your surgeon ) and stop beating yourself up because you're human and this is all new to you! Hell I'm 7 days post op and I still have diarrhea. Its comes from not eating anything solid so your body absorbs the nutrients it needs and rids itself of what it doesn't need. Sent from my SM-G360P using the BariatricPal App

One word delicious!!!!!! Today will make day 3 post op for me so my taste buds are a bit picky, but I mixed low sodium chicken broth with unjury chicken flavored powdered Protein. I heard so many bad things about Unjury, but I beg to differ its delicious . I purchased the sample pack and received a thermometer, mixing bottle, and two of each flavor all for twenty something bucks. The sample pack was worth the money! It feels like fire going down. I've only been drinking Water. Jello makes me gag and I'm scared that the broth will burn going down. Overall the water is staying down. I hope you're able to keep your fluids down soon. Have you had your leak test yet? Like crap. Im sore and nauseous. Every little thing makes my tummy hurt. Overall im grateful that I made it through! Im bummed. My surgeon has an emergency and I have to reschedule my surgery. I'm starting to think that its not meant to be . I'm trying to stay positive, but I'm feeling a little doubtful. At first I had issues with the leave at my job and now this. Wtf I'm becoming a bit anxious, but something is telling me that God wouldn't bring me this far to leave me. Today I went to my supervisor in order to put in my leave request for my surgery. If anyone is familiar with patient privacy laws then you know when doctors offices give you literature in reference to a procedure and its pretty general. When I took the paperwork to my supervisor "it" said "you are not having "FAT" surgery are you"? I almost cried, but I laughed it off and walked away. Has anyone ever had the same experience, I am pissed and don't know how to feel.
