Caycee replied to Caycee's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
It worked! Trying to get in my Water and Protein was a struggle but I managed to get near the amount I needed and today was the first day that I felt normal! Thanks to everyone for your advice and encouragement! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -

Ok, I don't want to freak you out but I had that same thing but 8 days after surgery it showed up. I ended up in the hospital with a pulmonary embolism and now I'm on blood thinners for at least the next 3 months. Please go get it checked out. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -
I'm 18 days post op and everyday I wake up feeling like crap. If it's not my stomach it's my head or my incisions. Please tell me that soon I'm going to wake up and feel like I've made the right decision. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I found a good protein!

Oh my lands that sounds good! I'm going to have to try that. I left it in the box. You can also heat it up like hot chocolate and add a little whipped cream on top. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -

Any FEBRUARY sleevers?!

I woke up with a sharp aching pain in my shoulder. Later that day the pain started on my left side right under my ribs. It hurt when you would try to take a deep breath. If I got moving around and became winded it was almost like the wind was knocked out of me and I couldn't breathe. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -

I was doing great till day 8. After a few days at home in excruciating pain I ended up in the hospital with a Pulmonary Embolism in my lung. I was actually released tonight. It didn't stop me from continuing eating right or drinking but I did go into a bit of a "stall" because I wasn't allowed to move around. Take it from me people, MOVE! Just when you think your done walking, walk some more. ???????????????? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -
If your periods are hard to handle talk to your doctor about Ablation. Now that I've had the sleeve done that's my next step! Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Premier Protein chocolate is really good. You get 30 grams of protein per serving. You can put it in the freezer for about 40 minutes and it's like having a frosty from Wendy's. I got the already made 12 pack at Sam's Club for $17. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
