I had the band to sleeve revision too. My surgery was on feb 16. I had to do the preop diet for 2 weeks prior. I have lost a total 17 pounds since 2/2 . I really havent taken any pain meds since i cane home only like twice before bed. Im going good went back to work after a week. Im still sore though and u feel more soreness on my right side cause thats where the port was but other than that im ok. Thanks

Hi , thats great.. im glad everything went well and that you are feeling much better. 2o pounds is great , keep it up. Im with you on taking it slow. I would say i do miss food well i guess the texture of food lol since doing liquids. I do find myself not as hungry as before. Im on full liquids. Ahh lol. Cant wait for pureed food . I was in the hospital for 2 days after the surgery was really nauseous and in pain. I too gained weight while in the hospital. I gained 3 pounds. I guess its from the IV fluids? ? But overall from start of preop diet til now i lost 17 pounds. Some pounds is better than no pounds so ill take that . I just had my surgery feb 16. I just went back to work yesterday. Im 16 pounds down. Still sore but trying to start walking more.

I was doing great till day 8. After a few days at home in excruciating pain I ended up in the hospital with a Pulmonary Embolism in my lung. I was actually released tonight. It didn't stop me from continuing eating right or drinking but I did go into a bit of a "stall" because I wasn't allowed to move around. Take it from me people, MOVE!
