Thanks. Blue cross blue shield. They longer require the diet supervision so I got lucky there. Sent from my SM-G935T using the BariatricPal App Thanks. Blue cross blue shield. They longer require the diet supervision so I got lucky there. Sent from my SM-G935T using the BariatricPal App It must be different because one of the first questions my surgeons office had me ask my insurance company was about the 90 day diet and they said that it was not required Sent from my SM-G935T using the BariatricPal App -
But they always claim to know someone who's had it and fail and "died"..yes that magic small percentage of deaths involved in wls these people always know I look at it like this..people don't like you for being fat and they also don't like the way you lose the fat...what's the common denominator? OP got pecked to death for asking a male related question in the guys forum the point of having a GUY forum is for something like this to not happen correct?

she may not know that you are a emotional eater and know how sensitive the subject is to you more than likely depending on the tone of her words or how often i wouldn't deem it as jealousy or harassment and go running to human resources just yet..sometimes people like to jab look at it as a third person in the room to determine what the context of her comments are..if you think she is truly trying to be malicious then take action..if not..hit her right back with a zinger -
i do not have an answer for you and i do not mean to derail your thread but i have a question..have you used a pre-workout supp. since being sleeved? if so does it bother the sleeve in any way?
-
i know that there is a restriction on lifting weights for a few months post-op but what about calisthenic workouts? i'm talking things like push-ups, burpees, sit-ups, squats, lunges, etc. it's not exactly lifting but it is strenuous work
-
do you feel as if your body can handle more than just walking? not that i plan on disobeying the surgeon or anything i just would like to know what limitations to expect going back to lifting and other exercises

Wow that's a quick turn around. I would've never thought that so many other surgeries had weight restrictions until I read some stories around here. It's like you have to save your life in order to save your life. I guess that's another plus to having weight loss surgery. Sent from my SM-G935T using the BariatricPal App -

Husband's breaking furniture due to weight, but still refuses surgery?
illailla replied to Comfy_Blue's topic in The Lounge
Right?! I thought I was in Bizarro World! A bunch of obese/formerly obese people judging someone for being obese and not being ready to do something about it? He will do it when he's darn good and ready and no sooner. No amount of begging, pleading, criticising,or cajoling will make him have the surgery. My husband had a bypass 10 years ago and guess what? It was his idea and he was ready to do it. 8 years later I decided to have the sleeve. My idea and I was finally ready to do it. We supported each other before our surgeries and then after. If his being obese repulses you so, then maybe it is time to move on. But my goodness try to put yourself in his shoes and remember you were in the same position not long ago. this. if you are done with the marriage move on for his sake and yours -

Best friend told me she doesn't want to hear anything about my surgery...
illailla replied to tiffanymarie6997's topic in Rants & Raves
don't go getting rid of a 16 year friendship just because people on the internet are telling you to based on this one situation that's ridiculous it's obvious that she is threatened by you having the surgery she even admitted it by asking if you'd be the same person..you have to tell her how you felt about it instead of be quiet..that's the problem with most relationships..people speak in code and don't say things instead of coming out with what bothers them in plain english if she continues to act this way then you should consider reevaluating your friendship with her -
don't dangle him along..be decisive and do it
