Whats the difference between pureed and mushy Demon. Thats also quite a recipe Shell I have to admit I ate alittle bit of chicken meat today. I chewed it up really well before swallowing and it when down ok and tasted awesome. But I'll stick to my pureed foods again. I also managed to go to the bathroom for the first time in 5 days. It was like rock hard sheep's pellets lol. Sent from my SM-G900I using the BariatricPal App

Glad to say i am pretty much pain free now unless i bang the staples on something or i twist or turn the wrong way. But what i have found is that i need to listen to my body when it needs a rest. As i can run out of energy pretty quickly. Sent from my SM-G900I using the BariatricPal App

Hard boil the eggs add a pinch of butter and a couple of scoops of mayo and blend together to it is like a paste or what they put on egg sandwiches. Then slowly eat half a teaspoon at a time, remembering to further smooth it out with your tongue. Best warm. Look my surgeon said the timeframes are a guideline. As long as you listen to your body and keep the food soft. Last night I blended some eggs with some mayo, butter and salt and ate it warm it was sooo nice. As im sick of sweet foods and needed some savory. It was no problem I couldn't eat alot but i stopped when I started getting full. I finished it off for lunch today. So although technically i not supposed to start the pureed stage until tues im already phasing into it. Also im thinking soft mire than runny so i will leave the potato chips, well crusted toast and over baked pastry for abit later. Plus the good news ive list my first 10 kgs. You can blend some of his cottage pie heated snd blended without the pastry or even get your cheese fix with soft mashed potato with melted cheese. Just keep hydrated with Water as well and lastly yes got 18 staples that will need to be pulled out, my last piece of torture lol. Sent from my SM-G900I using the BariatricPal App

Ok will do Shell. Is your nausea meds not working. I would follow that up. I think we probably have the toughest couple of weeks ahead of us. So if we can get thru that we should be good Sent from my SM-G900I using the BariatricPal App

Hi Xena. Good to hear the scales are moving for you lol and a relaxing week away never hurt anyone. Im looking forward to moving thru the stages. Have they taken the staples out from your chest, was it pretty straightforward or not something to look forward to. I had six incisions with 3+ staples in each. Yeah im getting abit of little burps, some hiccups. But it comes and goes. Overall im feeling much better but will see if the pain returns once im off endone. I have a tea/oj with 160ml choc shake for breakfast. 160ml of soup with another shake for lunch. dinner is another shake with either a soup or a sustegen. Im finding dairy is going down easier than natural juices at the moment. I also drink some Water as well. So i am averaging 800mls+ a day. But its not easy and i have to keep at it. I also am walking for up to 5min 4-5 times a day as well. How long since you had the op? Sent from my SM-G900I using the BariatricPal App

Yes looking forward to getting home. I have 1 week still on liquids then 2 weeks on pureed foods before starting solids. I have been using optislim so dont know how it compares to Optifast but i see myself continuing with it in a semi regular basis, just to help manage my weight loss and allow me a treat or two without feeling guilty. Email me at gtdavis67@hotmail.com if you like as i have alot of recipes that lets say i cant share on here lol Sent from my SM-G900I using the BariatricPal App I may not be able to access my email till i get home. I have a choice of thin soup, sustegen shakes, normal thick shakes 150ml, fruit or veg juice and tea and coffee. I find fruit juice to acidic for me at the moment and prefer dairy based drinks. But its a struggle to get 1000mls in a day. Sent from my SM-G900I using the BariatricPal App
