I am till Tues but it was a special occasion. On the plus side I managed to to whipper snipper and mow all the lawns then chase said grandkids around the lawn to no ill effect. Also glad I never threw my old clothes out as I have so many that Im starting to fit again. Including ones that I never wore and still have their tags on. Are any if you finding you are hungry every 3 hrs and are you having 5-6 small serves a day or just sticking to Breakfast lunch and dinner. Sent from my SM-G900I using the BariatricPal App -

New world dilemmas. Had all the kids and grandkids around for my partners bday. So we had pizza, seven different types actually and I had to choose carefully as I could only eat one and a half pieces. No beer, no cake. Sent from my SM-G900I using the BariatricPal App -

I have a larger incision scar (7 staples) on the bottom right hand side of my stomach where I believe my stomach was removed from. They had to cut through some muscle inside that has been stiched up. But its still a bit tender nothing bad just a dull ache sort of thing. Any ideas how long before this settles down. Sent from my SM-G900I using the BariatricPal App -

Congrads Demon you are into the promised land lol. I too struggle with my Water intake. Especially because I have found that I can't drink anything for about an hour after eating. I have 5 days to go before I go from pureed foods to soft and it cant come quick enough. And thanks for the continued words of support Bella as it gives us hope when we feel like it isnt working and are starting to wonder what we have done. Dont worry Shell I think we need to be realistic and look at the long term. My dietitian said that Im not in a loss phase at the moment anyway. I think because we have gone from liquid to pureed foods has our bodies holding onto what it can. But stalls are not uncommon and if you read Bella's post earlier she mentions that weight loss will come. Its funny how we all have different schedules. I am on 1 week liquid then 2 weeks pureed before going onto soft foods and a full diet. I think Demon has about 4 weeks on pureed or soft foods. All I know is that I can't wait to get off pureed food. I get diarrhea from time to time which I have to watch as I dont need any accidents in public. But stall or no stall my clothes are starting to hang off me abit so thats a plus. Sent from my SM-G900I using the BariatricPal App -

Hows everyone traveling. Had a disappointing day. Visited the dietian to find that I haven't lost any weight this past week. Need to watch that i am eating properly at set times and not just grazing throughout the day. She did say that Im not in a weight lose stage yet with the diet but it was still disappointing all the same. Although I have lost 12kgs so far. Guess I maybe in a 'Stall'. Hi all, so staples out and Id be lying if I said it hurt much. Most I didnt even feel. I got a slap over the hand for straying from my diet, but was also told I wasnt the first and I wont be the last. But they did remind me if the need to ket the stomach heal as much as possible before working it to hard so everything has to be blended. Mashed potato, egg, greek yoyurt with low fat ice cream anyone? On a better note I have lost over 12kgs so far which is great. The beauty of not being able to weight myself at home lol. I was given nexium for reflux when i was discharged but havent needed it, but my nurse told me today that they want me to take it everyday until finished as it helps to protect my stomach staples whilst healing from my stomach acids. Anyone else get told to do this. Sent from my SM-G900I using the BariatricPal App -

Special K cereal with fresh milk and fruit sounds delecious. Big day 4 me. I get 22 staples out at 3pm. Gives me a chance to catch up with my dietitian and discuss my trials and also a chance to weight myself as i dont have scales that can weight me yet. Thanks for sharing that with us Bella. Its good to see there is light at the end of the tunnel. Tell is diarrhea a constant companion after the sleeve. I can relate to the 'head wanting more than the stomach can take part as i am struggling to stay on the pureed food stage'. Sent from my SM-G900I using the BariatricPal App -

Both i make a drink of the yogurt by mixing 2-3 tablespoons low fat greek yogurt with blended fruit or syrup and a cup low fat milk. All my vegs and sauces etc are pureed. Sent from my SM-G900I using the BariatricPal App -

I dont know what my base weight will be after this surgery and what it will take me down too or how much work it will take to maintain it. I am finding this stage of the diet a real challenge as my brain keeps screaming for some texture in my food. But im committed to making it work and especially looking forward to increasing my activity levels as I lose weight. But Im not perfect and Im sure we will all have days going thru this process where we struggle to equal its requirements. Sent from my SM-G900I using the BariatricPal App -

I am lucky so far i havent had hardly any pain. I am on pureed food for two weeks. I have been given a plate with a picture on it if how much i can eat when i go onto solids. At the moment im lucky to be eating one quarter to one third of that. Sent from my SM-G900I using the BariatricPal App -
