I was sleeved 6/16/16. I'm not having much luck getting any Protein shakes down BUT I have added unflavored Protein powder to Bai coconut Water and that has worked really well. The water is super easy to drink and not soooo sweet. Thinking of trying egg drop Soup sometime this week (strained of course) . June 16 here.. So 2 days post op. Spent the day today at the ball park.. Wasn't bad. Getting in liquids was pretty easy. Needed to start protein but figured out the premise shakes weren't going to work but.... I added some unflavored protein powder to Bai coconut water and perfect! Has anyone had an issue with losing weight on the pre op diet? I've. Been on it since June 2 and went today for pre op and have not lost weight. Dr talked about postponing the surgery and keeping me on the liquid diet but after we talked said he would do the surgery as long as my liver had shrunk. If I have not lost on the pre op diet I'm worried about the liver thing. Honestly I've not cheated. I was told I could have cucumbers and celery and I've maybe had more of that than I should have once or twice but other than that nothing... Anyone?? Oh and to top it off.. Surgery is scheduled for this Thursday so I'm now worried that my liver hasn't shrunk..I'm starting my 48 hour pure liquid diet a day early to hopefully help but I'm not sure if it will or not. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
