Yes, Brooke & Amanda are the best girls in my opinion. Also they are the most "real" of the girls. They did awesome last night. I still think they are going to have to do better though to beat the guys. Yep, Paula is strange a lot of the times, but I think they are all funny as a team together. If were just one of them, I probably couldn't take it, but the 3 of them together are hilarious.

Sounds awesome bigunc. Yes, I've always wanted to go the French Quarter because I've heard so many cool things about it. I'll keep the advice in mind for whenever I do get to go. In Texas that's where. Especially during what is supposed to be winter time. Just this week, it got up to 80 & I turned on my a/c before we went to bed & by morning it was 43 & I had to turn on the heater.

BigUnc...I love the cajun food....my dad is from Louisiana. A little bitty town located near DeQuincy called Fields, LA. The Saints are great, love them...although not over my boys!! ha!! LSU is an awesome school, I pulled for them in the BCS game. My daughter is checking into transfering there next year. That'd be so cool if she went to a school with an awesome football team. Even though I don't watch a lot of college & the pros are my thing, it'd still be cool. My daughter doesn't like football (I believe she was switched at birth because every human being in my family that still has a pulse is a football fanatic) so I told her yeah....apply to LSU. ha!!! When she did some research on it, she became more interested. I'd love to go to New Orleans, never been.

Yes, Luke is gorgeous (kind of reminds me of Orlando Bloom) but you're right...great voice, bad song choices. I thought Chikeezie was better last week. Yeah I think sometimes it is Simon's comments that get a fire lit under their ass & then they really bring it.

I forgot about Desperate Housewives too. Those ladies crack me the hell right up!!!!!! And yes, the news programs (if the topic is right) I'm addicted to those too. Dateline, 20/20, Primetime, 48 hours, etc...all of them.

I think out of the guys it'll probably be either Luke or Chikieeze (sp?). Can't say for the girls...not until after tonight.

You are totally right Westcoast...it'll hit you fast. Especially if you do not have a very high tolerance to begin with. Myself personally, I drink once a month when we (our group) goes to the same bar we've been going to for 17 years on the 2nd Saturday of the month (after payday) to shoot pool. And I'm NOT a light drinker. I'm not talking about a few sips, I'm talking whiskey chugging shots. HA!!! And the only difference I noticed was that it took less for me to feel some sort of buzz. But it did not hurt me.

I watch the draft too, not all of it, but a lot of it. And pre-season??? Well that's just when it all gets started & I love it. I wait with anticipation until the schedules come out every year & I can see who we start off with, then I count down the days. Literally mark it on my calendar every year. OH NO....NOT THE STEELERS OR THE BEARS!!!!! HA!!!!! As a true die hard Cowboy fan, I don't supposed I have to tell you why I can't stand either one of those teams. ha!!! Don't take offense though, I have a lot of friends that are cowboys haters & we GO AT IT every season! It's fun. I usually win bets & stuff. I work with people from all over the country so it gets very very interesting around here during football. I never was big on college ball until my neice started USC in 04. Have been trying to get into it more & more every year, it's just difficult because it's so different from the pros. My nephew is a HUUUUUUUUUUUUGE Gators fan, always has been & the Longhorns of course. But I do pull for the Gators because of him & I pull for the Trojans because of my neice, and the Longhorns because well, I'm from Texas, and I like the TN Volunteers because my sister lived there a long time ago. Let's see it's now March, so we have all of March & 5 months until pre-season. Good Lord!!!! That's too long. ha! AAAHHH...but the draft is next month. YIPEE!

And I did cry when David Archuletto sang "Imagine" For a kid to take on a John Lennon song is beyond brave. And he did it so well. Yeah I like all the judges too. But Randy & Simon crack me up all the time. But that's interesting to know somebody else had done that version because I'd never heard it done like that before. Really cool! And David Cook is soooo hot. My daughter loooooves him to death.

Hi StLouisGal...your city is awesome. Vacationed there in Oct/06. We had a blast. Great, great city. The people are unbelievably nice and friendly. Got to do many things there, really cool. I want to go back some day & do the things we didn't have time to do. We were there during the MLB playoffs (which St. Louis went to & won the world series that year) & it was major, major excitement going on in the city. But the arch is one of the most amazing things I've ever done.

Oh me too!!!! Can't believe I forgot about football!!!!! That's just sacreligous!! HA! I live & breath for football during the season. And I mourn after the super bowl. My favorite sport. I'm a die hard Dallas Cowboys fan, but love certain other teams too.

Leather: Hi...I have always wanted to go vacation up in the NW, and of the states in that area. Sooooooo beautiful. Particularly AK & MT. Never been, but from just what I've seen in pics and things, just too pretty for words. So you grew up in MT, but work in AK? What do you do? So how long have you been banded? I see you just joined the forum in January, me too. I was banded Oct/07 (Halloween). I love my band. I've lost 35 lbs. Well, hope to get to know you better & tell us all the interesting stuff about AK.

Danny is so gay....but he's hilarious. I just love his attitude with Simon. It's too funny sometimes. But unlike most people....I love Simon. He cracks me up, and because he's brutally honest at times, some can't take him. The guy before him who sang "Hello" by Lionel Ritchie is David Castro. He is sooooooooooo freakin' good & a hottie. Too cute!!!! I just love the way he performs...Him & Michael both. But I think Castro was the best last night. Those girls better bring it on tonight.

I am 39, will be 40 in July, and have battled my weight since I gave birth to my daughter nearly 20 years ago. I had a rough marriage, and things didn't get any better once I divorced. I continued to be an emotional eater, which has brought me here. I had my band done on Halloween 07, and have lost 35 lbs to date. I only have the 1 child (she is plenty) she is in college, but still lives at home. I have 2 dogs (Chinese Pug & a Norweigan Elkhound) and 1 cat. I am a Sr. Tax Rep./Operations Control Specialist III for the property tax department @ Citigroup in Irving, TX. I love my job, I have been here a little over a year. Prior to this I've always been in property tax law, but worked for lawyers & state agencies. This is a very long journey & I'm excited to know that we have this website to encourage each other at all times. I look forward to getting to know y'all.

Hi there Gordon. It is VERY normal that you feel that way. I was terrified the day before my surgery. But it is the best thing I've ever done for myself & my health & I do not regret it at all. You won't either because you'll do so well, and you'll have all of us here on the forum for support. Please keep us all posted on your progress, and remember, it'll be fine.
