  1. What a day. I'm so tired, I was fine up until about 1:00.. Then I've not been able to get much of anything down. Only about 2ounces of my Protein shake, 1 bottle of Water... I've got to find energy Sent from my SM-G900R7 using the BariatricPal App

  3. How long is it necessary to sip? Sent from my SM-G900R7 using the BariatricPal App If you can handle more than sipping, then go ahead and do so. The sipping is to be cautious and not cause yourself discomfort. But if you gradually increase the amount you are taking in at one time and give it a minute and don't feel any discomfort, then it's probably safe to drink some more. Good, because I can take a few swallows and be fine, I just wait a few minutes between after I've taken a couple. Thank you so much, this had been a learning process. Still struggling to get all.liquids in. But I believe I'll get there Sent from my SM-G900R7 using the BariatricPal App

  5. I promise you that once you are onto more solid foods, you WILL feel restriction. You aren't supposed to have restriction with liquids. I wish more surgeons would do a barium swallow test and let their patients watch it live. Mine did one and it was plain to see that the liquid passed through my sleeve immediately. It didn't sit in my sleeve for even a second. The "restriction" that some people feel post op is all due to swelling or, in rare cases, stricture. So while on full liquid phases is it necessary to wait with drinking water if I have something like Soup Sent from my SM-G900R7 using the BariatricPal App
  6. One thing is for sure I tire out easily, but I'm not quite 2 weeks out yet. BUT you may be a total different case. Best of luck to you, so far I'm pleased with my decision, Sent from my SM-G900R7 using the BariatricPal App
  7. Well I took 1 week off plus the weekend so I had 10 days to recover.according to the amazing feedback I'm getting, it takes time. So I'm just gonna take it one day at a time. Had I told anyone about my surgery I probably would have taken 2 weeks. Nobody knows but my husband n daughter. Ironically when I got back to work yesterday my boss said"what are you doing, your losing weight?" I simply replied Protein n Water... Which is truth. 10. My heart hurts for you, as a mother you never want to see your child hurt. I went through some tough battles with my son at the same age, and I didn't have the tool of a sleeve.... And food and my bed was my comfort...BUT GOD....a lil over a year later he's a new young man and I'm so thankful... I said that to say this.. U are a mother, if your didn't have those feelings we'd think something was wrong. Continue to be the supportive loving mother that you are. No need to be ashamed we all have battles, its a, part of this journey called life. My prayers of healing for your son and your sustaining... Sent from my SM-G900R7 using the BariatricPal App
  11. Ok. I'm 1week post op today.. First day I woke up without pain, decided to try and clean a little.... After about 15 mins of cleaning, I'm out of breath. Feel like I've climbed 4-flights of stairs. So i have to sit and rest to catch breath...washing dishes didn't really bother me but sweeping takes my wind in mins.. Anyone experience this? am I moving too fast with the sweeping n moping?.. I'm still only on clear liquids!! Sent from my SM-G900R7 using the BariatricPal App
