I had that happen too. My Dr. suggested Liquid Motrin. It did that trick, and I was feeling better in a couple of hours. -

I went directly from Dr. office (my stomach was growling during exam) to Taco Bell for pintos and cheese on my Dr.'s advise. Yummo!! I only was able to eat half, seemed like the best beans ever. -

I scheduled a endoscopy in two weeks and later thought if the lapband will be an issue. Dr. and I discussed my band but I didn't ask enough questions. How does the scope get thru the band? Anybody out there know the answer? -
Thanks, summertime, I was hoping someone close by would respond. I am having my band done by Dr. Scwartz/ Dr. Felix in Jan. the 21st, at the
clovis hospital early 7:30 am and home same day. Tell me about your experience, same day home?? much pain? did you walking to lessen the gas pain? and what did you prepare to have at home to drink/eat? Any info would be appreciated the date is soon coming, and I am very excited. thanks again

How chicken is that to break up with you by text! Who needs a guy like that. Best revenge: concenrate on getting healthy, lose the weight and get a great new guy in your life or several new guys in your life and forget that loser. Hold your head high and don't even bother to call him any more. You know he and new woman are getting laugh at your calls. You need this time alone to get to know the new you that you are going to become. He will probably want you back when you lose the weight and you will be the one to turn him down because you know you can do better than that loser. Good luck with your band and new life!!

My dr. didn't have me on any kind of diet pre-surgery. But I would call your Dr. just to be sure. Good Luck on your surgery.

Hi! I was banded on 3-25-08 and have lost 30 lbs.. I feel I should have lost more by this time, but my night time snacking is messing me up. I have vowed to myself to get serious and knock off the night eating. How are you feeling about your weight loss so far? I am not totally disappointed cuz I can't remember the last time I was able to lose 30 lbs.
