A couple night ago my hubby and I were cuddled up ready to sleep and I could feel him rubbing by back and hips. Kind of like checking out the new transition that is slowly taking place with my body. I didn't say anything then, but asked him the next dsy about it. He said it was different being able to feel my hip bone without as much cushion. It made my day. Slowly...but surely the transformation happens. It was great before...but even better now!!!! Sent from my SM-N910P using the BariatricPal App

My thoughts are love is unconditional. Except yourself and like you and hopefully your mate will do the same. As the weight drops, perhaps being able to visit new positions will make up for any loose skin. Just sayin. Wink. Wink. Sent from my SM-N910P using the BariatricPal App

I think it depends on the person. I have had a few problems for two months. I have heard from many they felt great right from the start and others say it takes a good 6 months to start feeling your new normal and being used to it. Each day is a new journey. Good luck to you. I was told no caffeine at all. It can eat away at the lining of the stomach. I asked if I could have icetea and she said no only decaf. I drink decaf coffee and decaf tea now. Not a big deal to me. Sent from my SM-N910P using the BariatricPal App

Vitamins <--- AGAIN HELP!
Qwalla replied to rusticlemon's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My nut. Recommended Vitamin stick packs. They are flavored powder you mix with 8 oz. Water in the am and again in the evening. She said it is a good way to get your Vitamins and liquid in. Haven't ordered them yet. Trying to find someone who has tried them. Dont like chewable bariatric vitamins..ordered the patch but broke out in a horrible rash so we will see. Very frustrating!!! I had a hard time with the bariatric chewables. Talked to the nut and she said I could try the Patches but they dont know much about them to recommend them. I ordered two months worth. A week later I am broke out in a horrible itchy rash on my back, chest and arms. It is horrible. Dr. Put me on Zantac twice day plus topical cream. It still hasn't helped. I have now stopped the patch as of today and will find something else the nut recommended to start in a week or so. Ugh. Sent from my SM-N910P using the BariatricPal App

Blend chilli with tiny bit of cheese. Fat free canned refried beans. Little bit of salsa and cheese on it. Cottage cheese with spoonful of applesauce with cinnamon. Sugar free applesauce. Sugar free puddings.

My doctor said if you are one of the unlucky ones it doesn't matter what you do. It just has to run its course and it will grow back. I so want to be one of the lucky ones!!! Sent from my SM-N910P using the BariatricPal App

I am about 3 weeks after the sleeve. Total since surgery around 10 pounds. They said it takes awhile to see drops. Clothes fit looser than the scale tells me. I find it disappointing weighing more than once a week.

When can I drink through a straw?
Qwalla replied to mommafranz's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My surgeon let me use the straw after surgery in the hospital. He hasn't found any negatives with them. I did fine. -
No longer stalled. But eating food is VERY challenging.
