Aww I hope it gets better for you sooner than later! My DR was pushing for me to take 2wks but I tend to bounce back very fast. Plus I didn't tell my employer I was having surgery...my supervisor has the gift of gab and I didn't want to come back to playing endless rounds of the question game. I am feeling surprisingly well! I spent last night on the couch instead of the bed and gave away the last few forbidden foods that were in the pantry this morning. My intention is still to go back to work Monday but that may change. For now I am going to spend the day clearing off my DVR and sleeping of course .Thanks everyone! Thanks everyone! I am be released tomorrow. I could have pushed for today but my surgeon suggested to take both days since I am going back to work Monday.

I think the anxiousness is finally kicking in! But Im going to try to relax for the rest of the night with a sugarfree popsicle before the midnight cutoff.

I check in for my surgery tomorrow (3/22)! at 8am and am supposed to be the first person in!!! WHOOOOHOOOOOO! My birthday is Sunday (3/27) and this is by far the best gift I could have given myself. I had internalized stress a coped with a side of junk food for a while and I am beyond ready to get myself back on track. I gave my friends and family a disclaimer a few weeks ago that I am no longer holding my tongue and can not continue to be EVERYONE's emotional go to person- I was trying to be there for everyone but neglected myself tremendously. But on a lighter note...how long did you stay in the hospital? I am expecting 2 days and planning to return to work Monday of next week (3/28) since I work a desk job.

Thanks for the feedback! I am going to order the unjury and nectar variety packs this week so that I can try them out. Oh I found the Nectar variety pack at https://www.smartbodynutrition.com/syntrax-nectar-protein-variety-pack.html for $20, which is cheaper than any other website I've seen thus far. Oh and for anyone that likes the Premier Protein....Sam's Club has a case for $14.98 until 3/27/16.

In 10days at this very time I will officially be in a new phase of my life thanks to my surgeon and my new sleeve. I am on a 1200 calories pre-op diet and trying to stick with mostly liquids. So my question is what were your favorite Protein drinks? I like Premier Protein thus far and wanted a few suggestions so I can get some samples of other types to see what I like post op.
