I'm still doing well....I have had 2 fills and still not feeling restriction....still able to eat whatever I want.(sushi, steak whatever) and inwhatever quantity I want. was still showing slow but steady weight loss until the last couple of weeks....none! I even thin I have gained @ 5 lbs. I am due for another fill on July 11th....I'll let you know how it goes! Thanks for asking about me!!*hugs*:smile2: -
I feel your frustration....I have had one fill since my surgery on March 26th and I can still eat anythng. Bandster hell is nothing to sneeze at....I'm sure we will feel better when we feel restricton again. Waiting is just no fun!!

I know how you feel!!! I know everyone is different and I am new to this too...I had my first fill last week and I don't feel any restriction and can still eat anything ...I am not eating as much as I used to but I still eat alot more than I think I should be....I am still losing weight though so I guess I'm OK till next fill....I want to feel restriction though.... -

I do get treated differently than I did 100 lbs. ago(then I was @ 120 and now I am @ 235)....I am self conscience and paranoid now too though...maybe I'm different now...didn't feel this way then. -

I know how you feel....I got banded on the 26th of March and I am so hungry!! Ppl have noticed I have lost weight though so it is still working....just thought it would be a litlle faster....I get my first fill on May 1st. -
I got banded on the 26th and at the beginning I could feel the restriction...but now it seems like I don't even have a puch but a bottomless pit!! I even ate 2 scrambled eggs and half an apple. Is this normal?:confused2:

Same here except I also got a popsicle and some puddng.....I only sipped a little broth and water....went home shortly after I went to the bathroom...I was home by the time the girls got home from school.

Yes, I too think that we can eat more because of the lack of swelling but it is just too easy now...I mean, at least now I can drink a whole Protein shake, but I am getting hungrier too...I had sweet & sour Soup and the soft tofu went down so easy!!! Out of all the ppl my Dr. did the lap band on no one has had any type of band slippage....I hope I am not the first.:regular_smile::thumbup: -

Only time will help....walking did nothing for me but everyone is different...Gas x strips didn't help much either....the chewable ones were a little better.....laying down always helped with my gas pains and shoulder pain....I was good in a bout a week. -
Can you eat Egg drop soup during the liquid/full liquid stage? I had my surgery on the 26th and was wondering if the eggs in it would need to be strained?

I work retail....I don't want ppl at work to know....I will be mostly standing around and ringing up customers....not too much else....2 weeks off would be my entire vacation for the year.... -

right now if I were to do a whole shake I'd feel miserable and my stomache would be pokin' out alot....at first I couldn't do a sugar free popcicle without any discomfort....took up a whole meal too....no protein....now I can eat one and do a little bit of protein shake too....this morning I ate a sugar free jello snack with some beneprotein in it....still full from it. -
Thanks for responding everyone....I think they said I could shower 2 days out....I am just scared....I don't know how they closed my incisions....looks like it's just steri strip but could very well be sutures and glue too....I guess I will have to wait until Monday to find out....in the meantime, I will have a shower w/my back towards the water.

Even if you are denied it can be appealed....then more than likely could be approved....
