Hi, My surgery is scheduled on Feb 26th, I'm diving in head on. I have had 2 friends with successful WLS (one sleeve and one banded). I went to my appt on the 9th and boom, scheduled for suregery on the 26th. I am a bit nervous knowing that this can unsuccessful. I want to lose 60 pounds. I am paying cash because my BMI is not high enough for any help with insurance, but with all the money i have spent to see utter failure, i hope this is worth it. Any words of encouragement will be well received. I am on my own and hoping what i am doing is right. Anyone out there with Hashi's that have had this surgery?

I almost gave up on replies...thanks! I'm nervous about all this...but I'm ready to get this weight off. Don't want to be labeled obese anymore. Funny thing is...I went to pre op appt and I was the skinniest one there.
