  6. Awww, thanks so much. I am really so happy right now. The kind words are so wonderful. I didn't feel I looked all that great to be honest but I was just proud of what I had accomplished thus far. Some people have lost way more than me on their 3 month mark so I was a little unsure to post my results but I said what the heck and did it anyways. Glad I did. I am getting no support again from home ( if you follow me you already know the issue I had initially with my spouse and I thought he turned a new leaf but he told me the other day he hates that I ever had this surgery because I can't eat like I used to ... well ? duh, I don't wanna eat like I used to so it's back to me supporting me) it feels great to have people on my team rooting for my victory. Thank you all. I so appreciate it, I truly do.
  7. I'm blushing ?... thank you.
  8. Thank you... I feel so much healthier. I live in Mobile , Al and we just celebrated Mardi Gras. So, that is a lot of walking for those who have never had the pleasure of celebrating marriage gras festivities, lol. I used to get so winded from walking not even 1 block. But this year, I know I walked miles through our downtown blocks and I was nowhere near tired. That was my non scale victory, lol ?. I owe it all to God first of all.. then my surgeon for doing such a great job with my sleeve, Dr Clayton Frenzel.
  9. Thank you so much. I guess I can post a pic with my hair done and make up on this pic was a right before bed pic , sorry. But just wanted to post my good news but thanks for encouragement.
  10. Thanks, lol. I have been trying to work on a six pack but it's a work in progress.

    Weight Before & After

    Congratulations... what an accomplishment!
  14. Totally true... water flavoring helps so much and also @danaymacklin you are such a beauty. I had gastric sleeve on 12/5 and it is a struggle to get in water n protein but I do my earnest to get in at least 50 mg by protein shakes and at least 40 by food. Water is about 50 oz a day . Other liquids about 30 oz . I'm trying . Take multivitamin daily and this post has scared me to make sure that I don't skip a beat .

    Goal Achieved!

You look great ... well done?
  16. Your post sounds like my doc visit, lol. I knew when I was told I was prediabetic and that I was 3/10 of a point away from having full blown diabetes according to my A1C... I also had sleep apnea as well as cardiac issues. I was only 38 years olds d said no this will not control me any longer. And fast forward to now I don't regret a thing.
  17. I can't wait to wear a two piece for my 40 th birthday in the Caribbean. I also can't wait to shop for clothes in the single digit size. Also can't wait to reach goal so that I can say that I did it.. I changed my life.
  18. Hi all. I am officially 8 weeks post op tomm. So my 2 month pic is one day premature , lol. I am currently 186 lbs today. Surgery was 12/5/16 and surgery weight was 219 lbs. soooo, I am currently 33 lbs down since surgery. My preop weight was 242lbs....so total weight loss since July 2016 is 56 lbs , yay. So, this is what 186 lbs looks like on me. Not perfect but I'm 36 lbs away from my goal weight of 150 lbs. I am still a work in progress but I'm proud of my progress this far.
  19. Thank you so much ... but the scars are def still there... I use bio oil n it has helped fade the scars away so much... it's a Lil costly but worth it.. n at 6 weeks you are doing great with a 30 lbs loss... I used to get discouraged about the amount I lost due to so many people lose massive amount but now I focus on how my clothes are fitting which lets me know inches are flying off... so don't focus on scale too much look at yourself and see how your body is changing. Take care n good luck to you. Thank you so kindly.
  20. Thank you @ DivaT. I'm still working tho gotta get to 150????
