I shut off notifications of threads that get resurrected or totally turn in a weird direction that is of no interest to me. I also turn them off to really popular threads because I know I will see them in the new content or I will search for them anyways.

Oh. And those of the ones who clearly don't really want help...

A more peaceful BP experience is had here, too.....or so I thought. Last night I used the "block" feature for the first time. Hit the "new content" button and the very first post I read had the blocked member quoted in the third reply. LMAO....so much for sidestepping them.

Y'all. I finally blocked a handful of people and other members PM me their posts so I can see them! WHUUUUT??? And now those blocked people can still respond to my status? Sigh. The lunacy of it all.
