    Changes after hair loss

My mom, btw, has the same hair type- and it didn't change after her pregnancies either. My guess is it's a crap shoot. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Changes after hair loss

I've been pregnant 5 times resulting in 3 children ( 2 miscarriages both at 4 months). I was born with a head of ridiculously thick super- curly red hair (thanks to my Italian heritage). My youngest is 15 and my hair is as curly today as it was when I was a little girl. My saving grace at this point is the hair loss I'm experiencing - which is significant- is not noticeable and has cut my drying and styling time in half. I'm not complaining. 3. @@AvaFern Did you go ahead with your dental work? I'm a bit late (2 months!) to this conversation, but I practiced dentistry for over 20 years. Teeth color, provided you didn't have internal staining from antibiotics or fluorosis, is TYPICALLY directly correlated to skin tones, believe it or not. In this century, whitening products, be it over the counter or dispensed by a licensed clinician, are readily available and very potent. With exposed root surfaces, sensitivity can be horrid. Be certain you're using some form of sensitivity-reducing paste, or better yet, prescription strength stannous fluoride gel. This gel can cause some staining, but it is extrinsic- can easily be removed and the benefits are permanent. You will also benefit from the addition of a topical fluoride because the root surfaces of teeth do not have enamel and therefore caries- cavities- can not only begin faster, but the growth rate of them is exponentially greater. Anyway- I hope if you had this all done you achieved the desired results! Nothing is as lovely as a beautiful smile Lisa Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Eating or Drinking Your Nutrients?

@@Krista143 I was told it was perfectly fine, as long as there is no sugar added to the almond milk. Just make sure you add up the Protein in the milk to the protein in your powder to get an exact total. As for OJ- there is a lot of sugar in it- I would personally avoid it- I wouldn't want the calories nor the possibility of dumping. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Love this!

While searching Pinterest just now, I ran into this- How cool is that for meal prep???? Just pack your salad, etc in mason jars, seal and put in fridge. Leave a little room on top if you use dressing to shake. Strategically layering is the key- dressing and "wet" things on the bottom. Then layer away! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  10. So, more on my post about Protein2O- I was really interested in purchasing a case of this goodness and found their FB page and then their website. I ordered a case via Amazon- they're offering free shipping and $4.20 off a case right now but saw them out of stock. Well, I ordered it anyway, would ship in a week, but decided to do some more sleuthing. I was shocked beyond belief to find them literally in my backyard!!! Seriously I could ride my bike to their office/warehouse. I called and the lovely guy invited me to come over and sample the other flavors- so I did!! An amazing company! They are doing costco roadshows currently, so you all may find it there, too! The coconut- which I was not going to purchase- amazing! Add rum and call it a piña colada lol. All flavors- wonderful. We chatted for quite awhile, and as I was leaving he gave me a HUGE stack of coupons for store use! Great customer service ???? I'm glad they re-branded the bottles as I would have walked past the old ones. And apparently they also reformulated they taste profile. I'm also glad that I tasted the "new" version. I would say- if you haven't found them near you, look at Amazon as he told me they just shipped them 120 cases and they will have them shortly. Also overheard that Walmart.com will have them shortly. But I think the thing to do if you can't find them is ask your local grocery store/ health shop to order it in for you. You will have readily available supply that way! A beautiful day in Chicago

Yay! Another Chicagoan! You will get there! We are SO fortunate that we live in such a beautiful, vibrant city. I'm actually in the suburbs now, but grew up in Logan Square and then the Six Corners/ Old Irving Park area. Where, if I may ask, are you? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Frozen Banana treat

Should add you need to add the sweetener to the baking chocolate to taste. If I were to do it over- and I will- I would just use bittersweet chocolate and drizzle it lightly. The chocolate was too much- in volume- more than needed. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    3wks out tacos?

Odd thing? My NUT who is very strict, makes no restriction on full fat products- dressing, sour cream, mayo, bbq sauce etc. Her opinion on condiments is that because of the small volume of food we consume, we aren't eating THAT much of a particular condiment, so have at. Her opinion is regular dressing tastes better so enjoy the scant teaspoon you will likely need. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
