Just saw my surgeon for the first time since surgery and I'm down 17 pounds and over the moon!! : ) How is everyone else s progress? Any Jan/ January 25th sleevers?

Hi! I'm jealous you're onto scrambled eggs! I can't wait until I can try those next week. As for Valentines day the guy I'm seeing is fairly new so I've been struggling with ideas too. I think it's just gonna be an in movie night for us and low key as well. He knows I can't eat solids yet, thankfully he's been super supportive : )

When were you allowed meat? I'm craving chicken/ beef so badly! The struggle is real. lol

Yikes! I went back at 15 days and I was completely exhausted at the end of each day. I had a little stretch there where I was going to bed almost as soon as I got home from work. Glad to hear it's going a little easier for you! I'm in that stretch now.. I went back after a week (and I'm a commuter from Nj to NYC) so I'm pretty much in bed as soon as I get home. How long did your stretch last? Luckily my Water in take is good- but Protein is what i'm struggling with. saw my doc today and he told me I should be at 1,000 calories a day... I had a look of horror on my face lol I feel you with the protein... I'm struggling with that also.

I'm 3 weeks out on pureed foods. Currently working on a banana Peanut Butter smoothie. So far so good.

Not sure about Midol but I took Motrin during my cycle... I asked my nut before I left the hospital and she was kinda like, "I'm not saying yes- but I'm not saying no either. Take one and see how you feel and go from there"

You are one bada$$ woman! I'm scared to ride to Walmart one week out. lol!! Hahha thank you! Either bad$$ or insane... I haven't quite decided yet. xD.

I am on week 3 and down 14 pounds. So far so good : ) I started at 274 and now I'm at 260.

Mine took a little less then 2 hours. (From what I was told anyway lol)

I only needed a week off. (I wish I had taken longer because I commute from NJ to New York City... so that commute is what really took a toll on me...) but besides the commute I felt pretty okay at the office. I'm a receptionist so it's mostly desk work.

Yes... Same boat. I started therapy a few weeks before my WLS and it has really helped. I see her once a week. If you need to talk message me as well.

I was over night in the hospital 2 nights, 3 days. Had the pain pump the first day and a half, then they took it off mid second day and gave me extra strength Tylenol. My main struggle was sleeping at night, and on and off fevers. I felt weak too, but they make you walk around which is actually really helpful. And you pee every two hours because of the IV. now THAT was a pain in the butt. but overall-- looking back it wasn't too bad. I thought it would be a lot worse.

GIrl, same boat. I'd run. I'm distancing myself from my bff too. It sucks... but... sometimes the best thing you can do for yourself is walk away. He told me he loved me 3 days before his wedding... and I watched him marry someone else. That was fun =/ Protect yourself, and most importantly protect your heart.

Everyone important in my life knows. And my co workers know as well. (I'm with them more then my family, so they would of noticed the rapid weight loss for sure.) and my co workers have been amazingly supportive, excited, and non judgmental about the surgery so that I was grateful for, and it made the transition post surgery a lot easier. : )

Oh man... My dating stories are endless... Two stick out in my mind. Both of these were online dates. 1.) The first guy he told me HE LOVED ME on the first date... Um, needless to say I NOPED outta there..., and I went a few days later for a drink and the date was so bad and awkward my bartender remembered.... 2.) My second date was so awful WE WILLINGLY SPLIT THE BILL. I hated everything about him and vise - versa... we never saw each other after that one.

I'm having the SAME problem... I was sleeved on Jan 25th, so this is my first cycle since my procedure. I was in fetal position all weekend and it was probably the worst cycle I've had. (and I have endometriosis to begin with... )
