Hi all, I am almost 2'weeks out and have gone through the "normal" moments but today a sharp knife like pain has started on my left side( more toward the front). It reminds me of a kidney stone I had but not to that intensity- yet. Anyone experiencing this?

Hi Chiquita, I am just passed my 2 week post op. I was feeling down just like you. I think it's a combination of things- we are very much off of our routine and I think it's a scary time because we are tired, uncomfortable, possibly hungry. It does get better! I am 30 pounds lost and feeling well- although still tired. I went back to work last week( I have a desk job) and found it picked up my spirits to be around people again and sort of back to routine! Stay strong!

Hi all, My doc wants me to take these specific bariatric chewable Vitamins. I cannot put them in my mouth without gagging- I think it's the smell and the fact that they taste terrible. Is anyone take vitamins in pill or liquid form? If so could you share the names? I meet with my NUT On Thursday and am hoping for an alternative.

I lost 17 pounds in the first week and a half but now am a full two weeks out and gained two pounds. It seems as though everyone's body reacts differently. My sister had this done last year and it wasn't until the 2nd and 3rd months when the weights started to come off fast! It will happen- good luck!

Hello all- 3 days post op and finding your posts very helpful! Very little pain only the gas causing that bad cramp like feelings. They were right about the walking! Walk walk walk!!
