Meds and weight gain

The whole reason for choosing the sleeve is because of the need to be able to stay on my psych meds. I've also talked extensively with my nut about other needs for other conditions. I need fat for my psych meds to be absorbed and she's saying that there will be enough in my post op diet but I'm not so sure. There is definitely a disconnect in nutrition school about the dietary needs of people on psych meds and how these meds have affected our bodies. I've met with a nutritionist in the past and I showed my pcp and pdoc the recommended diet and was told absolutely not when it came to low fat everything. My surgeon said that with a reduced stomach that there would be fewer hunger chemicals released. A lower weight could also mean a lower dose of psych med. I also plan on staying on the maintenance med that counteracts the hunger affect. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BariatricPal -

How did you transition your pantry and fridge? What about those of you who have family members who need weight gain? Tomorrow I'm going to the grocery store for a few things to start out with but am not sure what to pick. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BariatricPal -

I have problems with Vitamin absorbency. It took a year to get my Vitamin D levels up. My psudotumor meds are screwing with some others. I have to take pills already. Is there a liquid Multivitamin? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BariatricPal -

Fruits, starchy veggies, and carbs are banned for the liver reduction diet. So is sugar and fatty products. Another kink in my diet plan is my daughter is a 5% weight child and I can see between my husband's legs as he walks. They want me to focus on Protein intake. I'm also not the cook. Shopping next month is going to be interesting. -

The reason for the sleeve is because it also cuts down on the hormones that induce hunger. Seroquel is the weigh gainer. And nope. Not dealing with Stevia. Tastes like ass. Been trying it for years. Will cut out except for a tiny bit for surgery and after in moderation. -

I have until some time in June/July before surgery and am already at my surgery weight. Again, my NUT isn't expecting me to fully start the diet yet. -

I am being a bad girl this week and eating this: http://www.businessinsider.com/r-in-february-chicago-goes-crazy-for-paczki-as-donuts-go-gourmet-2016-2 Polish husband has to have them and my nut's plan isn't to start overly restricting yet. -

Cuban coffee and breves. Espresso machine. Espresso coffee. Typically french roast. Nut has not mentioned protein supplements. Apparently this program expects everyone to do it with food. 60-70 grams of protein a day via 5 meals. Congrats at being the lucky few. Though I take 300mg a day. -

Topamax is an anti-seizure drug that is also used for migraines and drug-induced weight gain. One of the major side effects is the complete inability to taste carbonation. You can't even feel the bubbles in your mouth. The soda tastes very acidic and outright disgusting.
