223.3 going to go low carb this week! -
My doctor suggested it but I never did it. My surgeon still did the surgery

Wow I'm glad I never saw that statistic. One thing I did pay attention to on Laura's VSG you tube channel was to stay away from the negatives. If it's any consolation I had my sleeve done on March 23rd and I'm still here and I don't accept blood transfusions so I was already scared about that. Talk to your doctor about your fears.

I had to eat them too because my calories were so low and it didn't make me nauseous. I'd only eat a 1/4 to 1/2 cup.

How big would the 1 incision be?
-
Hope you feel better soon.

That's true plus I hate hospitals. I once hemorrhaged after delivering a 10lb baby girl and I pretended to be able to walk by holding on to my husband for dear life just so that I could go home[emoji6]

Yes I agree call your doctor or go to the emergency room if necessary.

My surgeon says no protein supplements until week 5. Does this sound right to you?
rubia72 replied to sleeverv's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
If you can't drink protein shakes your going to feel very weak. I was sleeved on the 23rd of March and to this day if I forget my 30 grams of protein in the morning I end the day feeling very weak and tired. -

Seriously, how do you get all of your protein in?!
rubia72 replied to mlgok's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I add a scoop of unflavored Genepro to anything every day. It has 30 mg of protein in one small scoop [emoji6] -
26 years in July and I couldn't have done it without his help and support.

My surgeon in Florida (dr. Dietrick) used glue. They just dissolved
-
Same thing happened to me unflavored genepro from GNC saved my life. I add it to a light Starbucks Frappucino I found at CVS in a 4 pack
