Great that you have your 'better half' on side and encouraging you! Dinner time can be a challenge but what is that saying ... Nothing tastes as good as being slim, healthy and fit feels ????

I have not officially started, see dietitian tomorrow but been following the diet as I'm in the 'zone' already!!Lost 7.1kg or 15 pounds! Go me!! All the best for tomorrow!!!

Hi! I'm in Australia so works very differently here. Saw surgeon 20 Jan, booked date there and then for 22 Feb. then had to have gallbladder out... Totally annoying! .. So had to move date to 29.

Great loss! I started Optislim early, 4 weeks out. Need to do 10 days per surgeon but I have my head in the right space now, so thought I would start. 5.4kgs down, I am chuffed but I have heaps to lose so trying to set small achievable targets or the end seems too far away. My surgeon is Harry Frydenberg, who was yours? I'm having it done at the Epworth Richmond. Lizz

Hi I'm new too! I have my sleeve date of 29th Feb. super excited and have already started Optifast .. 5.1kg down since 1 feb!! It is foul! Yuk!!! Add ice to make it slushy like a frape and use a straw to get it down helps! ... Surgeon said to do 10 days but I figure the more I lose now the better and safer for the operation. I live up Mt Dandenong on 10 acres. As hilly I get some steps! Walking around the block is not an option on these mountain pass roads! Well that's me, I would love to connect with some of you in the area ???? Lizz

Totally agree! Optifast is foul! But as I need and want to do this ... And dieticians all recommend it, I have improvised! I use ice to make it almost slushy and use a straw! It definitely helps!
