Hopefully, they will take out the feeding tube tomorrow. It is starting to get a little sore. Has anyone else had one?

I just had my surgery on the 9th. I had the RNY, but mine was open. Did the rest of you have yours done laparoscopically? With the RNY, they repaired a hiatal hernia repair and removed my gall bladder. I feel like the pain won't ever stop.

Go to the internet. Look up Medicare and Bariatric Surgery. It will give you the guidelines that are to be followed and the requirements for Medicare to cover her surgery. I did it and it worked. Good luck -
Any February Surgery Dates Out There?

My surgery date is February 9 if the weather cooperates. Snow had me cancel two of the 3 doctor appointments I was to have this week. Made it to one today, Upper GI on Monday and the other test was just cancelled. Starting to get nervous.
